Optimism and pessimism. I listened to the UTHR call and there were ways to look at the June Mannkind plant expansion both ways. Optimist says the plant expansion allowed UTHR to increase inventory and that is why we did not see a growth in revenue. Pessemist: UTHR stated still bringing in 500 new additional patients, mix is 2/3, 1/3 for patients using DPI or the old way but the expansion did not add up to much production increase or revenue per patient is dropping so revenue stagnated. Future competitors: Optimist says DPI will continue to be the best on the market as it keeps eating up market share. Pessimist says UTHR acknowledged 2 competitors in their quarterly talk that will be coming on next year and now has to address why DPI will be better than both of them One competitor that UTHR is currently in court with, is now being addressed as being a future competitor as if the court case is done. If the court case is assured to go in the competitors favor this MAY not work out for Mannkind and UTHR.

$3.68!!! ... Ouch!!!
Damn! I hope the Q3 ER tomorrow is at least good enough to get it back to $4. I don't want to have to wait it out at these prices till March.

Surely we will see a mass buying of shares by our company execs/insiders in light of this extraordinary "buying opportunity" (kinda tired of typing that year after year). If we don't, can somebody please explain why the heck not?
I can think of two possible reasons: 1) they don't think MNKD shares are undervalued even at these sub-$4 prices; or 2) we are giving them way too many shares as it is, so they have no desire to take advantage of such a sure thing as these depressed share prices offer. There must be another possibility, someone please help explain, thanks in advance.

Must pay or give away your info to read more? Porkini, you must have 3 companies already provided to you. Unless you subscribe, you only get 3 companies per month. At the end of the month that resets and you can review 3 new companies (the same you selected previously or 3 new and different companies. Click the down arrow in the upper-right corner next to your Profile Head-&-Shoulders icon. Then click: View Companies - to view the 3 companies (or more if you subscribe) that you currently (for this month) have selected. Plans & Pricing - Describes the Plan Details for the Free (0$), Premium ($10) and Unlimited ($20) - the first year that you subscribe you can get a good discount, but you might have to look for it (if you don't see it on the site, google). I subscribe to the Premium, so I get 30 companies per month, which works great for me. I have had over 20 companies selected, but I have never hit the 30 maximum because they always reset to zero at the end of the month. It works great for me, but depending on how you use it, ymmv. Oh, wait, I just re-read what you said. Actually, it sounds like you just have to create an account (as you say, give away your info). Yeah, well, that's what you need to do. Up to you, but, I highly recommend it. I think you just have to give your email address and First & Last names - I've subscribed for about a half-year now and it's been harmless, and I think it has been very valuable for me. Like, I didn't get spammed or anything.

Nate notes has been on damage control on ST for several weeks as he is battling the pessimism. You made me look and, omg, Nate has been posting like crazy. I remember when his posts were rare and sporadic. And I see he's throwing a few proboards members under the bus, not yet quite sure why. I'll have to do more reading, I guess.

That’s why Bill wrote the letter. What Nate was saying needed to be addressed. Like I said before, I should’ve listened to you years ago!!

Bc the members are pessimistic. And Nate doesn’t like pessimism. Bad for business. He can’t fathom why the stock price is down. It’s just short term ppl. Volume is low. Etc. ummm tyvaso sales are flat. And tyvaso is the only product making money for the foreseeable future.
