Since the first movie wasn't very good, I was hoping they wouldn't make the second one.... But, looks like they did.. I bought a few more at $3.35. Don't tell my wife.

Uncanny how they seem to be eerily similar, both in December and both having the same affect on the SP?
2018 Christmas Massacre
MannKind Corporation (Nasdaq: MNKD) (MannKind) today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 26,666,667 shares of its common stock and warrants to purchase up to an aggregate of 26,666,667 shares of its common stock. Each share of common stock is being sold together with a warrant to purchase one share of common stock for a combined purchase price of $1.50, for a gross deal size of $40.0 million, not including any future proceeds from the exercise of the warrants and before deducting the underwriting discounts and commissions and offering expenses. Each warrant will have an exercise price of $1.60 per share, will be exercisable immediately and will expire on the 12-month anniversary of the date of issuance.
2023 Christmas Massacre
On December 20, 2023, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (Federal Circuit) issued a decision regarding United Therapeutics Corporation’s (United Therapeutics or the Company) U.S. Patent No. 10,716,793 (the ’793 patent). The Federal Circuit affirmed the inter partes review (IPR) decision from the Patent Trials and Appeals Board that the claims of the ’793 patent should be canceled as invalid. Liquidia Technologies, Inc. (Liquidia) initiated the IPR.
I just don't know how MNKD manages to pull this off with the mistakes they're making. If I had been able to see the similarities, I might have sold. Jesus, Joseph and Mary what were they thinking partnering with UTHR? Another "Christmas Massacre" that could have been avoided. That's two in five years. What in God's name will happen in 2028?
