Wow… well, it sure seems to be easy for the backseat quarterbacks of the CEO & MNKD to micromanage, judge, critique and find fault from the outside looking in, constantly criticizing the CEO & team along with thinking they know, correct behaviors, exactly what should be done differently and how to fix everything. SMH I thought MC sounded fine on the shareholder call yesterday. It was a short meeting but how many times can he repeat the same things when a quarterly cc was just held and there is nothing new. How many ways can he say it… better than ever, very strong start, 8 quarters of growth, firing on all cylinders, amazing turnaround story - great shape - especially for such a small co - better than some that are bigger, ridiculously undervalued, plenty of capital & the right people to bring shareholder value for years to come. And, he thanked shareholders. Not seeing any one of any significance wanting MC out except what appears to be on line, stock public forum, imo, whiners & players - some probably short. Seems votes were there to approve all items for MNKD.
If you ask me, real due diligence tells the real story and I think there is far too much good to be negative.
My gosh, it is bad enough with the shorts & players at every turn. I certainly understand the frustration for some investors, such as myself, that have been here for years and in light of how well things are going can not believe the share price is not moving up quicker. It is an amazing turnaround for MNKD, due to - by the way, imo, the CEO & team but I will never understand those claiming to be real shareholders that seem to do nothing but look for problems & negatives when there are so many positives now and ahead. IMO, it shows so little support & consideration for MNKD and for other shareholders of which, per, the Annual Shareholder Meeting yesterday, there are MANY.

I sure hope I can find my shades. We are seven years into Mike being CEO. The pps closed today at $4.59. Thats a presplit adjusted pps of $0.92.
Aside from helping to bring us a reverse split what have we done in 7 years?
1. a lot of failed marketing efforts like the flying hamburger and the $6M Seeing is Believing Campaign which I never saw 2. four "waves" of sales reps which every time we; hired; trained; sent out into the field; and then fired 3. afrezza sales in real numbers not much better than 7 years ago 4. a failed purchase of V-Go 5. a highly successful manufacturing partnership for Tyvaso DPI 6. no afrezza label changes 7. little change in insurance coverage for afrezza 8. little change in SoC inclusion of afrezza 9. limited new afrezza studies with only Inhale-3 completed in 7 years 10. Gestational study not started 11. afrezza/glp1 not started 12. 6 months now added to the Inhale-1 study 13. We sold the factory in Danbury 14. stock dilution since the reverse split 15. MNKD-101 and 201 years away from NDA
Some ask why Mike did not want to have an in person ASM. Lets hope the future is significantly better than the past seven years. Hopefully UTHR can keep increasing Tyvaso DPI sales.

I think Mike is perhaps guilty of smoke and mirrors show in past years with regard to Afrezza... but that's really all he had then. He inherited a dud. He probably didn't realize that when he was first hired. It would take a ton of money, that still isn't available, to solve the Afrezza problem, if it is even a solvable problem.

There is one time a year when retail shareholders ask questions as if they were analyst of a company they are vested in. In this case thats 50% of the company, and most of those shareholders have been here when the analyst were walking away. So if I believe more than 3 mins of Q&A are due go figure. When Wall street took a giant crap on this company I was still here. MC has turned Mannkind into what Wall Street is still hesitant to accept. So when MC gives them a half an hour and retail 3 mins what have they done for you lately. Mike is doing an awesome job and I am still here waiting for wall street to catch up.

I’ll try again. Hopefully they don’t have my posts on auto-delete. Not sure why the last one was deleted. All I said was I was happy someone got to say something because the thread had been locked earlier, right after cretin11 replied to my post (that I thought wasn’t offensive, but maybe it was?).
That’s a funny thing too. I haven’t seen posts deleted without explanation in years. Last time was on Yahoo! Messenger. Gawd what an awful imposter-loaded POS that place is (or was).
So I think Mike has performed brilliantly as a CEO given a crap sandwich. I’ve never been more optimistic since early 2015. Nine years ago. I don’t give a crap about talking about the reverse split because that was 7 years ago and pre-Mike and another very large example of the crap in the crap sandwich Mike was handed. Instead of decrying his performance we should be appropriately grateful. Which of the Yahoos (see what I did there?) that post on this board could have accomplished as much? Not I said the goose.
Still, a less than 30 minute ASM (did I understand that correctly?) is not something anybody can be proud of. WTF?
Anyway, onward and upward. Go MNKD. Good luck to all MNKD longs.
P.S., The “nervous” Mike comment haunts me. Was he nervous? If so, what about? Is there a buyout offer he’s not happy about but others are?

Nothing is on "auto-delete" prc and if you are wondering whether a post has been moved or deleted, please DM a staff member because any staffer can check and find out who did what. You ask us a question via DM and you'll get an honest, complete answer. You speculate on moderation action in a board post and it just doesn't work out very well around here. That's why the Board Rules say to not do that.
The issue with certain threads being locked for no apparent reason is a technical issue the staff is dealing with, our apologies for the confusion. It has happened around 3 times now and we're working on it.

Thank you BD. Apologies if it felt like I impuned the integrity of moderation here at ProBoards. I assume its a mostly thankless job fulfilled by volunteers and I am grateful. I am sure it was just an unfortunate coincidence. Best of luck fixing whatever is causing mysterious thread locking.

I was hoping an update on RLS and Bluehale. Maybe some Cipra news on India. Damian Dash, the spoke person for Afrezza or just party friend. What say you Mike? There was an update on RLS. When he answered the questions about partnerships he said the RLS partnership expired last year.

When he answered the questions about partnerships he said the RLS partnership expired last year. Here is the update on Cipra based on Mike's previous comments from 5/8 - They are still waiting on approval. MNKD received several questions which they were responding to. Per Mike - "We're really excited about this year in the second half and one thing I didn't talk about is the potential approval for India. There was a clinical review there in India. We are submitting some feedback that they requested and we do expect market authorization to happen with potential approval by the end of the year for a launch potentially in 2025. We'll continue to give you updates as we progress on that, but I do want to let you know because that is public knowledge at this point." Is there an issue, IDK. Their version of the Adcom recommended approval. Can the study results not be released prior to approval, IDK. What I do know is I have not seen them yet. Did BP step in to try and stop approval, IDK. It would not surprise me.

The 2 birds in hand right now are Tyvaso DPI and afrezza. UTHR is handling Tyvaso DPI and if the right things are done with afrezza the afrezza potential is significantly larger. What needs to be done one might ask. Here are my top 12. All Mike needs to do is follow this list. 1. Great presentation on Inhale-3 2. Getting SoC updates based on Inhale-3 results 3. Kicking off Gestational study 4. Great results on Inhale-1 and convincing the FDA to take 6 month results versus the 12 month BP is pushing for 5. Approval in India by 4Q2024 and launch in 2025 6. Great results from the Inhale-2 released 7. Kicking off afrezza/glp1 study 8. Getting label updates based on Inhale-1, Inhale-2 Gestational and Inhale-3 results 9. Getting SoC updates based on Inhale-1, Inhale-2 and Gestational results 10. Getting expanded insurance based on SoC updates 11. Getting SoC updates based on afrezza/glp1 study results 12. Getting expanded insurance based on SoC updates for T2s.

Isn't there an upcoming Afrezza gestational study which is investigator-sponsored? I don't remember where I got this idea. Does anyone remember?
