At any reasonable price, UTHRs buyout of MNKD would be accretive in many aspects, to Sales, Profits and Market Cap. 11.2B becomes 15B overnight, and the street positively views the acquisition as a firm IP / platform technology grab that Martine can steer and steward to greater things, faster.
I'm not going anywhere, but I'm pretty much over being patient after 10 years. Something's got to give. Someone should make a move. JMO.

What does that equate to in PPS? With our current pipeline our future potential is pretty freaking enormous. It better be a big number.

Can we pick a $10B buyout by 2026?

Can we pick a $10B buyout by 2026? No, but you can create another poll. It's always a question of risk/reward and opportunity cost. I believe under UTHRs stewardship MNKDs assets would be worth $10B to the UTHR ticker by EOY 2026. If UTHR were to offer an all stock deal, I might cash out a small portion of my holdings, but the remainder I might hold for another 3-5 years, presuming demonstrable upward trajectory.

No brainer. With UTHR running things this could finally reach its potential. $3B offer is more generous than we could insist on but would be an easy yes.

If it were a stock for stock buyout I'd support that. Not a cash offer since I need to avoid capital gains as much as possible until 2027. Though I suspect other shareholders and the BOD aren't going to take my tax situation into account

Your suspicion is correct ktim, a buyout at 2x our share price would pass overwhelmingly whether stock swap or cash. 🙏🏽
