Best supposition with MC's sale might be that any more good news probably isn't very imminent? Wonder how well the market will hold the $6 when it digests this sale? GLTA Any how it is very strange this selling.... Hope it is something automatic or planned..... For MC may be under an agreement with his ex wife ? There should be some nice events from now till end of the year..... some conferences, some data readout (Inhale 1, inhale 30, phase 1 nintedanib), an approval in India... Q3 Earning in november.... For sure the dreaming of a near term BO on the table disappear as well disappear a near term agreement with BI for nintedanib/ofev ..... No way, IMO, for tax reason You will loose the possible huge gap-up in case of any of these 2 events (At least for MC who sold 85K)..... Let's see

We can argue about reasons why he sold, whether or not it was planned, etc., but I don’t think you can argue against the fact that the timing of announcement sucks.

I assume you'll love the sweet taste of good results and the continuing improvement in MannKind's situation and share price.

There is never a good time for corporate officers to sell stock. If the stock price is rising and they sell, it’s “how could they sell and kill the rally?!” If they sell when the stock price is going down, it’s “how could they sell when the price is going down, it shows a lack of commitment, there must be something wrong with the company!?” I think we all forget that corporate officers are people. They have families and debt commitments just like the rest of us. There are hundreds of reasons why it might be necessary to sell stock along the way. So folks will tend to make up the underlying reason for the sale without having a clue as to why. It is likely we will never know why at the time.

If I remember correctly ... Mike C doesn't get paid and instead receives these free shares. So makes sense to me that he sells the shares.
But don't worry ... I didn't sell ay shares.
