Bobby loves afrezza. A major focus of his will be conic diseases with childhood diabetes right near the top of the list. If Bobby can get early treatment of T2 diabetes including exercise and diet and have afrezza stop the progression and potentially reverse it, it then feeds into Musk's goal of reducing Medicare costs with less heart disease and diabetes costs. So diet and exercise will be mandated by the freedom administration? That would help reduce Medicare costs. Likely make T2 totally disappear or become extremely rare... if it applies to when someone first becomes prediabetic rather than waiting for the diabetes diagnosis. No one is going to listen. Michelle Obama tried a healthy eating initiative and it didn't work for 8 years. |

Note: There's a danger of a thread like this getting to too political, and we've already had a post reported. I'm not going to take any action on that because the nature of the thread is such that it can't be totally apolitical, but let's pretty please not just cheerlead for our favorite political figures and/or activists. If they/RFK is serious about lowering Obesity they need to STOP Allowing High Fructose Corn Syrup in our FOOD SUPPLY. If you back and look when HFCS went mainstream (mid '70's) that's when OBESITY started to RISE. I was in Italy last month and most of Europe has BANNED HFCS in their FOOD SUPPLY and their obesity rates are MUCH LOWER than the US. But you have the LOBBYISTS pushing it because it's CHEAP and EASY to make. This should be RFK's first priority!!! HFCS makes my Rum and Coke suck. Need to use Mexican Coke with natural sugar.  |

It is fake or real? "psychedelics, peptides, stem cells, raw milk, hyperbaric therapies, chelating compounds, ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, vitamins, clean foods, sunshine, exercise, nutraceuticals and anything else that advances human health and can't be patented by Pharma" ...vitamins??? FDA do not allow you to eat fruits and vegetables... come on ...  |

Who is willing to pay? Afrezza is expensive. I hear you and I do not discount what you are saying. I may have it wrong, as I think in some ways Afrezza is a volume business. The more volume sold the less the cost of sales. I think that is why Brazil and India have been targeted. Here in the US, I can imagine, some people trying 4 units, type two's or type 1's that use it on a high spike. I say 4 unit because it is so safe. 35 mins peak, 90 mins out. Maybe 30mg/dl. |

(warning: those with humor allergies should not proceed) Love that clean food... the triple washed things you can steam right in the plastic bag in the microwave, lol. And don't get me started on the FDA's war on vitamins, I can hardly find any vitamin supplements in the store these days, it's barely an entire aisle in the grocery store... if only they'd just do away with the produce dept to get more vitamins. The thing about that "policy" statement is... it may be things that pharma is against because they can't make money off of them, but those things sure as heck are making a TON of money for "nutraceutical" companies, pod casters, influencers, etc. I think there is some axiom of logic that would indicate that just because one group of crooks doesn't support something doesn't mean the other group of crooks is necessarily right. But then I don't have a brain worm, so what do I know |

I don't take that's he a fan of drug companies or the FDA themselves, worried if an overhall is coming how does that effect MNKD timeline. If he is given that kind of power, you gotta think change is coming an it will impact MNKD is someway. I heard him talking about doing away with the diet drugs. All the better for us. Doing away with the dangerous diet drugs would be a good step forward! |

Afrezza is the greatest medical advancement in diabetes and is the safest insulin, and safest diabetes treatment, on the market. Luckily, we didn’t fall to greed and jump onto the diet drug band wagon. Tyvaso DPI has proven to be incredibly safe and is a revolutionary treatment for PAH. As for our other products in the pipeline, it appears we’re concerned with making existing drugs safer and with less side effects and more effective for very difficult to treat conditions. This seems to be a good strategy and goal that would align with RFK. When you look at what most BP companies have been doing, it’s just creating something for the sake of turning a profit. Just look at these so called diabetes drugs that are being used for weight loss. They do nothing to address the underlying issue with either condition and cause more harm than good. We know these companies don’t care about the people, they care about $. |
