I think they can promote the partnership and the value of what the future might hold. I would bet that Sanofi is also presenting. My guess is that there is a lot of great news they can share that does not comprimise any items Sanofi does not want disclosed.

Actually it will be interesting to see if they talk about any of the unique aspects of Afrezza (e.g. reduced hypos) which some have speculated were not mentioned in recent presentation by SNY because they are prevented by rules about marketing outside of FDA label. I've always suspected that the rules only apply to actually marketing aimed at patients, not what can be communicated to investors.

Oh oh...Matt and the boys at it again, maybe we should short it for a day or two after their illustrious presentation. That's probably a good bet but I won't do it. Wasn't some genius analyst from Piper really negative on us? Not sure how good of an idea it is to go visit an ultra negative critic.

Has this tag line changed? I remember it being more like this even recently.

This suggests that other technosphere projects will be in the background right now. I think they want to keep their eye on the ball with Afrezza. Is it possible there will be any new information this week? I could make a long list of subjects, but the answer would still be the same. Like Lucy and the football there are never significant announcements before these conferences. After all this is a PJ forum not a MNKD forum.

If I were choreographing the conference, I would have my presenters just full of energy and happiness, then quickly tell the attendees about the approval and the partnership, talk a little about technosphere and the blue sky that awaits that technology, and then wax on energetically about having everything in place to go out and conquer the diabetes market (or at least capture a significant share). I would quickly bring up (if allowed) some anecdotal evidence of those on trials who can't wait to get back on it, and exuding the joy they feel about finally getting to do something they set out to do long ago - help the heck out of diabetics! Upbeat, upbeat and more upbeat! Unfortunately, we may not have the horses for such a presentation - let loose, Matt, have fun up there!! Perhaps Hakan could do it in his native tongue, but I don't think he can do it in English. Perhaps Spiro can sub in, he's the kind of energetic presenter we need! Those who have talked to him can bear me out on this - Spiro does not breathe when he speaks, I believe he may have gills!!

OK, so in a more serious note, why presenting at PJ Healthcare Conference? If they have passed Afrezza on to SNY for safe keeping from now on, what on earth are they planning to talk about? After all, they made it very clear on the last ERCC that they had relatively little to tell. Could have something changed? I don't know, maybe they had finally decided to listen all that criticism coming from shareholders and are trying to cosy up to the analysts... Now, that is a frightening thought. Or maybe they have decided to give us longs an early Xmas present and they are unveiling some fantastic news. Could it be that through production another mile stone payment has been achieved and they are pocketing another 25 million. At any rate, the conference is the day before my birthday, so truly hope that whatever it is, does not ruin the day for me.

As a matter of fact we should send a spy to follow Matt and see what is he buying for his wife. Purchased a new snow blower in October. Just itching to test it out. But there is no snow forecasted in KC yet  ?. Maybe by the end of December. |
