The CafePharma boards tend to be cesspools more often than not so I would take anything I read there with a grain of salt.

The posts there about jobs and salaries get toxic really fast... it's almost hilarious how quickly a legitimate question about company culture or salary estimates turn into a shit-slinging, dick-swinging argument between some of the idiot posters there. I used to go there to research new job openings or to ask about how things are at certain companies but I've since learned to just avoid those boards altogether.
That being said, I would be interested to hear from a legitimate Sanofi employee about what they've heard regarding how Afrezza is going to slot into things at the company.

How reliable are those boards? I wouldn't trust a board that lets you post anonymously without submitting any credentials. I could sign up and post the same thing, and I have no more clue what their plans are than the next investor.

I did read one board for a company I used to own but that was a long time ago and there seemed to be more 'real employes' posting there a few years ago? Hard to really know though. There were often random truthful things posted on these boards. Problem is figuring out what is true and what isn't... Like Yahoo (or any other anonymous board) you have to really know your posters to even start to take anything said there credibly. I don't read them so by default put little faith in what is said there. |

Coco gave us the best info possible when she posted about her sister's conversation with her PCP. it's happening folks all over the country. Our patience is on the verge of being rewarded very soon.

We have some doctors among us. Maybe someone could explain how a typical drug rollout occurs. How much before the "launch" date are doctors given a heads up about what date to start prescribing? Are doctors notified of this date en masse (email blast perhaps) or do drug rep just wait until the next time they call on a particular doc and say "btw... we've got this new drug that is now available. Start prescribing whenever you wish." Is supply pushed out to pharmacies ahead of that date? Do Pharma companies typically have all the payers signed up before that day 1?
