Mnholdem.. congrats on getting some at 5.25.. I had to wait for the wire transfer.. and then saw it hit 5.30 5.40 5.50... and couldn't keep up with the price increase.. I think you are confusing me with another brilliant, considerate, knowledgeable MNKD investor. I put in a modestly sized limit order and missed the bottom by a penny. I was playing around with a cute blonde (my 4-yo granddaughter) all day Friday so I wasn't watching the T&S throughout the day. My last limit order filled a few weeks ago at $5.019 but I missed this morning dip.

I was trying to convert my IRA shares on MNKD to my Roth on Friday. The system at the brokerage firm uses the night before close when calculating the transfer price. I was happy with the 5.22, but their system also shows the December 31 date as well, therefore I will have to wait till Monday. If the price is lower than Friday's close I will wait another day. If MNKD goes higher, I will be moving the shares to the Roth.

If the transfer from your IRA to Roth is dated Dec 31, you'll be paying taxes this year. If I were younger I'd probably move to a Roth, too.

Not sure where to put this but I wanted to share this info with forum here. Link provided to prove source along with my noted comments
From SNY site and raises the following questions for me
What is USD? what is USD 90M project?
Is it 92M T1 in China?
Lastly - the part I underlined - is that MNKD?
Please discuss!

Responding to diabetes needs worldwide
Sanofi has increased annual production capacity at its Beijing, China, plant to 48 million units. The new assembly and packaging line is dedicated to production of the Lantus® SoloSTAR® insulin pen. These facilities are designed to meet the needs of 92 million (1) diabetes patients in China, a country particularly affected by the diabetes epidemic. The next step in the USD 90 million project will be the construction of a high technology line for the production of sterile insulin cartridges.

I'm not sure what questions you mean, but 92 usd is just the cost of the project in dollars, 92mil dollars
Your link doesn't work, though

I think that's a few years old, isn't it? Does insulin that is pumped come in cartrodges? Imo it's nothing major, either way

Great post! I have only been invested in MNKD for about a month now. I just kept purchasing shares and am in at an average of $5.55. Seems the more I read the bears bashing this stock all over, the more I buy. My son is a type 1 diabetic. This drug will be big for all diabetics. In the end, hopefully the PPS will be big too.
