Please someone help me. I'm obsessed with this stock MNKD. It used to be that I could not wait for the weekend to get here and I would live for 3 day weekends. Now I can't wait for the weekend to be over and for the market to open hoping for some new information to hit the news. I find myself just wanting to read anything and everything I can get my hands about MNKD. Something's gotta give. Launch already or something. The silence is deafening. I go to a party, I bring my iPhone and log on to the many boards that I read and hope for some new information or some new insight. What is a girl to do. Help! Any suggestions. Maybe there is a group for my type called stocks anonymous. Coco.  |

So what other boards are there... cafepharma, YMB and this?? I'd love to spend more of my weekend time reading stuff posted by absurd pumpers and ridiculous shorts who know less than I do about mnkd too.

I don't post as often as I should, but nevertheless, I find myself addicted to this stock-constantly reading. Reading at gatherings. Reading at work. Reading on the toilet. I can go on, but I'm sure most of the posters here can relate. These next few months will be very exciting and can't wait to push forward with Afrezza! |

Coco,
I have been following the board for several weeks. This is my first post. And while I defer to others on this board with more wisdom and experience, I feel I can best contribute by offering to relieve you of the source of your torment. I think you'll feel much better and lead a happier and more fulfilled life if you transfer to me all of your current MNKD holdings. You can write it off as a charitable contribution, and start the rest of your life with a clean slate. Re-invent yourself. You'll thank me later.

I refuse to consider myself obsessed with MNKD. I have the uncanny will power to spend at least 1% of my time talking to my wife, kids, family and dog about something else. Heck they probably don't want to talk to me anymore than that anyway.

There's no way Spiro's obsessed with this stock (but perhaps with Leona Bay). He talks more football and politics than Afrezza! For all you Seahawk fans (like me), whatta game! For you GB fans, omigod, that was awful.
I'm fairly apolitical, think most are rascals and hypocrites, so I really can't tell with any certainty the ones that aren't, but I'm sure there's a few. However, you guys should all tune into the State of the Union address on Tuesday. Again, relying on inside the Beltway sources, I'm expecting the Republicans to have Carly Simon singing "You're So Vain" to the President. If you can't get James Taylor, at least you can get her ex! Don't shoot the messenger if it doesn't happen, but thought you all would like a heads-up!
Coco, hang in there, talk to Lynn, she's in with the pharmacist at your work, you shouldn't have any trouble altering your state. It's only your financial independence that's at stake, so don't sweat it! Perhaps we can get Carly to sing Anticipation at the next presentation!

And tho I don't have much to contribute on this board compared to most of you , I do have occasional moments / flashes of Wisdom ,) I know we all know this but I think it's important to remind ourselves that we are not dealing with a drug that affects a very small percentage of our population , we are dealing with a drug that treats a Global Epidemic ... But there's only X# of doses will be avail at launch , so Sanofi ( I'd assume has targeted a Demographic to initiate Launch ) in a part of the country that has a dense Diabetic /pre Diabetic population , so there will be No Super Bowl commercial , there will be no Fireworks , what I'd love to see is a successful launch in the way I'm mostly confident Sanofi has had planned for some time now & STILL have Demand from Patients who hear about it from blogs ect ... That way we don't piss off patients & Doctors by having patients ask for a Drug we can't deliver just yet . I just worked 2 busy 12's but I know at least one of you #'s people on this board have calculated the 1 line ( that's all we have as of now rt? ) how much product it can produce @ 24/7 production ect & figure out how many patients we can initially treat ? Look at me now I'm looking at Mannkind as a "We " ,) LOL! Sorry for long run on sentence ./ Low expectations are healthy for initial launch IMO , it kinda makes sense to me why we haven't submitted for EU approval YET ect ... We only have so much Afrezza & once we get a patient on it , we sure as Heck better have enough to Keep them on it  I'm quite tired so maybe my rant makes no sense & I'm cool w/ that I can't wait til Tues ,) Lynn |

Coco The best part of this obsession for me (my wife confirms that I'm obsessed with MNKD) has been that I have MannKind friends from all over the country who I chat will both on and off the boards. We even have at least two parties we're preparing where we will all be meeting in person. Perhaps we fit the definition of cult after all. I don't mind. I'm having great fun with great folks obsessing over a great future for a company with a great drug technology. i cannot wait until TOMORROW - and my daily dose of quips and quotes. ...too bad there's always these damn cats running all over the place, though (chuckle). |
