Took the idea from the yahoo boards so I also have aria front desk a call, they'll be there till tomorrow, didn't ask how long they been there cause that would have been odd.
So the training is indeed going on right now

savzak, you me and many others on this Board... Perhaps this is the start of the controlled launch. On Monday (the 26th as it happens so guess those folks were right about launch) it now looks like with the wrap of the Sanofi LV business meets that the reps will be out selling Afrezza so it does make sense that the product is starting to arrive in pharmacies around the country. Also even though the market is up, and this could simply be another walk up in pps by the shorts before they hit us with another short push down, it may also be the beginning of a rise in the bottom of the pps as we seemed to have missed out on the rise in share price that usually accompanies binary events such as the launch. Disclaimer: Baba does not think as I do that the launch is a binary event.  |

Let's not get carried away. Just heard from Spiro that Matt was sighted playing penny slots downtown, sweating and cursing every time he lost. Don't know what to make of that!

LOL! Baba, I am still weighed down by your caution (will not call it pessimism as I know you are a true dyed (or should I say died) in the wool long and all longs by the very definition of their existence and nature of the beast are optimists... but I am also a bit more of the Spiro camp in trying to read the tea leaves and I must say the latest pieces to this launch puzzle finally seem to be coming together after days of speculation, (and I do realize that most of us have been at this for years but am really talking about the current event of launch), witness the following and draw your own conclusions: 1.) Sanofi stated would be a controlled launch, not sure what that is but they have been very quiet and low key about any information regarding launch so it seems there will be no official announcement or at least no fanfare/publicity of any significance and we have been left to piece this puzzle together 2.) Speculation about Sanofi training taking place at end of January in LV seems to have been confirmed, at the Aria as i understand it from Board member that called the Aria to confirm 3.) Pictures of what seem like actual Afrezza packages from posters 4.) Confirmation that Matt is in LV 5.) Rumors that Sanofi reps would hit the street to start selling on 01.26, seems consistent with fact that Sanofi conf in LV will be over by tomorrow Friday, 01.23 6.) Todays steady share price run up while not meteoric is at least significant considering the flat line of the last two weeks, especially with the above information if it proves out 7.) savzak's eyes are misting... Now we could all find out on Monday that this is just another walk up by the shorts so they can walk (or slam) the pps back down as we longs seem to be the proverbial mouse in the clutches of the cat (with no disrespect to all the cat lovers on this board) So to be clear I am not standing on an aircraft carrier ready to declare victory... I am however starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel regardless as one by one and slowly but surely the pieces for a victory are beginning to fall into place... I know the shorts will not go away easily nor for a long time, but maybe just maybe we can get the floor of the pps to move up on days like today I am hopeful that we will get the floor of the pps to make a "permanent" move up as a result of the analysis above which to me would be the run up from a binary event such as launch... |

If SNY doesn't want to do a presser I thing MNKD should absolutely do a simple release stating that they are gratified and proud to announce that Afrezza is commercially available. I guess it's possible that some deal term prohibits it though. |

Mnkd might be able to say something but am not sure the would as they seem pretty conservative and I believe with Sanofi in control of marketing they will defer to them...

I've never done this (or seen it done) but am told that a lobster (or frog) will not move if put in cold water then slowly raising the temperature. This could potentially be what is slowly happening to our short friends... JPG PS: do not do this to your pets please.
