I don't have access to the exact number of trial participants from trials 171 and 175 that were actually on Afrezza, but I would guess it is around 500, and the rest would be placebo. Maybe someone else can refine those numbers. Also, there were literally thousands of trial participants in earlier safety studies. What % of the trial participants will request a prescription within the first few weeks of launch (like afrezzauser)?

200%+. Since each of the trial participant will request a prescription + they will get their diabetic friends to request prescription too.

Yeah, but how many of those were actually in the United States? I thought the vast majority of trial participants were in Europe and the Evil Empire?

What about Israel? The president (or some regional VP) of Sanofi was quoted last year just after Afrezza approval that they were working diligently to bring the drug to Israel just as soon as possible. A $200MM annually renewable sale would certainly raise some eyebrows. I'm extrapolating the sale amount to the statement made previously by Al Mann about a small country wanting to place an order of that magnitude.

I remember hearing the "Middle East" country statement back a few years ago. If there is truth to it, are they waiting for success in America or is there another approving body that needs to go through the regulatory/ approval process?
When it comes to countries that are run by a monarchy, I suppose they could do what they want, but I haven't seen an official comments recently. It may be too soon, but realistically, we are still within a few days of a soft launch. I suppose there needs to be some time passed with American patients first.
Any thoughts?
