Short Interest 9/15/2016: 99,194,685 Days to cover: 27.104950 Short Interest 8/31/2016: 95,640,324 Change: 3,554,361 The shorts just continue to pile it on. Selling shares that don't exist. It's infuriating. They have the advantage of self reinforcing the outcome. Keep the Mnkd share price low so that it is very diificult to raise cash on the open market. Then continue to point out Mnkd is short on cash and short more making it yet again more difficult to raise cash. Rinse and repeat. Oh how I wish they get what's coming to them. If the shorts and naysayers are successful, then they drive the company into bankruptcy. Losing my investment will suck, but the loss of perhaps one of the greatest advancements in diabetes care in 50 years is unforgivable.

I received an e-mail today from Schwabb asking for shares to loan to shorts. Shorts apparently are still optimistic they can force the price down even lower.

Thanks SLA.. do people give thumbs up for this because the SI didn't decline much or because it didn't go up. Never understood SI much expect that the higher the SI the more expecting to stock to go down.. but if it stayed about the same and you think good news ahead ... I guess your glad the SI is still high?

What are people getting for their shares lent out?
It would be nice if the interest got jacked up helping with a squeeze

Do you know what dictates an increase or decrease? IN the past it was always so expensive to short MNKD. Why did that change?

Why did that change? Just guessing, I think shares available to short controls this, the less shares available, the higher the interest, and visa versa.

Just guessing, I think shares available to short controls this, the less shares available, the higher the interest, and visa versa. Supply and demand. What we've seen, I think, is relaxation on the demand side.
