I am assuming by Al Mann you include both his personal shares and those of The Mann Group.
Forgive my ignorance, but doesn't your table imply that there are no institutions that are shorting shares? If you exclude institutions to get the retail float number, mustn't you also remove any institutions that are included in the 86 million short interest? Unless the purpose of this exercise is to show that retail investors are essentially powerless... which, of course, we already knew.

I think Mann is at 140 mil, not 200 mil. Changes your numbers a bit. Would tend to disagree with your lowered share count. I am basing it upon past calculation that showed Dr Mann (and his associated trusts) as holding 47% of the float. Most of these discussions were around what happens if he broaches 50% and a change of control is triggered, and what would happen to the tax loss carry forwards.
If someone can provide guidance on the correct number (along with sources), I am all ears.

Schwab was paying 14% yesterday. Don't know what they charge. Which were you asking for?

This morning pre open this was at 350k
Symbol: MNKD Availability: 300'000 Exchanges: NASDAQ
So when I go to purchase some more '17 in the money leaps what is not seen is the added short position of the calls sold to me...how is that hedged and so on and so on...think about the deficit of shares when those calls come "calling"...of course some will be met by long liquidation as the price goes up (natural market dynamics...but the question is where does everyone think their ceiling is for selling?)...the volatility when this occurs may end up mind boggling as witnessed when it happened to DNDN...only in MNKD's case I would expect the opposite end game to that of DNDN's, in other words instead of falling back to pennies getting bought out at a nice premium at some point down the road.

Check out Lumber Liquidators today and what has happened as the result of a negative "60 Minutes" story last night and how the company has fired back saying the story was the result of organized short interest. I think I believe that, those shorts, they will stop at literally nothing.

Joey, where do you go on Fidelity's website to check what's available to loan out? I can't seem to find this when I'm logged, thanks!
