Well there I think is the issue. Its not about existing MNKD longs getting it. We need everyone else to get it. More importantly, buy it and use it .... Maybe AfrezzaUser can start a viral campaign - something like - "Show me your chart!" And diabetics across the country (eventually world) pose with their charts in front of some sort of famous landmark or what. Only a small minority of diabetics have CGM. It's great that user are sharing this info and helps educate the wider DM population about the desirable kinetics of Afrezza, but a vast majority of users have to have to be convinced that better outcomes can be achieved without the need for a CGM. Focusing too much on the charts might imply that this is mainly the population that it is aimed at. It will important to develop a protocol that allows the majority without CGM to best benefit from Afrezza... and convince people that taking a 4u Afrezza when they would have taken 1u of Novolog isn't a problem, and convincing them when they don't have a real time CGM chart to show them. With a CGM, things are really simply... set your high threshold and when it buzzes take a puff. We also need some patient spokespeople that are happy with Afrezza and don't have the luxury of a CGM.

Ah. Thanks for the ed on that!
Well, my other idea I floated on ST was to come up with designer colors.
How about a puffer that looks like stainless steel? Frozen Elsa when it gets approved for pediatric? Flat black for the goth-emu-whatever-its-now-called group ....
Then there's dual product placement. SNY strikes deal with Harley Davidson. Disney. Pepsi-co (now that's funny). And so on.
It'd become a self-funded marketing campaign ..... (ok. going off deep end here, I know. But someone else came up with that Pez idea and it too, had some fun merit to it .... Imagine the Darth Vader head with the puffing sound behind it?)

Thank you, liane. Thank you.
Now, let's have Miss Idaho reach into one of those top straps and pull out a discretely hidden Dreamboat. Then flash us her...um, wha'...oh, yeh... CGM graph.
BTW - Did I say thank you, Liane? You must be an eye doctor (chuckle).

Post Script: Screw this -18 degree / -35 degree windchill weather in Minnesota. I think I'm moving to Idaho.

Lynn, Try a chocolate martini. Trust me on this. In fact, order dos, por favor. Hopefully, you'll be at an all-inclusive resort so you won't have to worry about running up a tab on my account. I'll just hang here, freezing my butt and dissecting earnings call transcripts. Oh, joy! Feel free to email a photo to me @gmail, if you really feel bad about rubbing it in. That could warm me up! Buenos Dias, loco Chica

Not that Sam Finta isn't doing an AWESOME job getting the word out about Afrezza, but I'm thinking Miss Idaho would be a great advocate! Checking out she twitter account, she had high blood sugar on the Feb 17th. After reading how Sam was able to easily and quickly knock down his blood sugar levels, I think she would have the same success. So it would certainly get more people aware of Afrezza having her on the team!

Some folks won't believe this, but Minnesotans are having one of our milder winters this year.
Normally if it's -10 degrees, we ice fishermen will stand around outside, watch our tip ups and shoot the bull...unless it's windy. Of course, having something in a flask always helps.
We have a warm front today. 11 degrees for a high with light snow. Heck, that's jacket weather!

Lynn,
A few weeks ago, didn't SoCal get measurable snow for the first time in forty years?
I'll be heading to the Caribbean a few weeks after you. Don't drink it all before I get there!

Mn holdem, I'm not sure that you could call it measurable but we did finally get some much needed precipitation , it's just been a miserable winter , our average temp seems like it's been mid 70's There I go again , rubbing it in !! I actually miss rain & am hoping for a Thunderstorm or 2 in Mexico but that darn sunshine seems to follow me everywhere ! Last year just as we got to airport ( leaving same resort ) an awesome storm rolled in & I was so bummed to be stuck inside & as for the chocolate martini , yes our resort is all inclusive AND they have a martini bar Lynn ( sorry to be totally off topic of thread )

Off topic! Right. "Rubbing it in" vs "I'll show you mine"... you and your friends are gonna be a hoot. Enjoy your week of Mayan Madness.
