Never heard of him, but glad to have another celeb on board. The more the better, would be great if Afrezza could become a "cool" medication among the beautiful people.

Love this video! Fun to see all the early adopers talk about the reality of the benefits that were previously theoretical to us. Also a trend setting type of guy if you ask me. I bet he'll be featured in quite a few diabetes publications soon...

Al Mann said in many interviews that he looks for a product that is disruptive in an established market that lacks innovation.
Afrezza is disruptive enough that new patients can't help themselves but talk about it. What is also interesting is that we haven't seen a patient who has said "I tried it and it sucks".

These social media advocates (Lasher, AUser, Peakabull, etc.) come across as being paid endorsers, almost. However, it is easy for a non-diabetic person, like myself, to forget how troublesome this affliction can be for so many people. Therefore, it makes complete sense that the aforementioned would be so outspoken about this "life-changing" drug and so encouraging for others to learn more about it and/or try it.
I am excited to see how interest grows for Afrezza through social media.

-that is one of the key points I came away with after trying to read every patient blog and social media outlet I could find.

Thanks Hansmolo! Instagram wasn't even on my radar yet for Afrezza!
Looks like Adam is generating a lot of responses over there.

Looked at another way, its almost like they talk about it as if they've discovered sex and how that changes your life once you experience it. Giddy, and can't wait to do it again cause it makes you feel so good. (Please don't ban me...it seemed an interesting, if not important or exact analogy)

WOW look at Dexcom stock chart; One day MNKD will be like that.
Trades at 4.6BB, 16 times last Q annualized revenue, produces no profit and almost no op cash flow. Even if you take sep-14 cash flow of 11MM, it trades at 100 times annualized cash flow.

Some time ago I heard interview with him on public radio. The host did ask him about the idol show where the judges inquired what the CGM was. This was before he was on Afrezza so nothing mentioned about that.
