As a LT MNKD shareholder, feel like we are riding shetland ponies into battle.
The shorts are comfortably riding abram tanks shooting down each positive milestone this company makes with pure theatrics.
Deafening silence from SNY/MNKD does not help shareholders. Can they not release something objective, undebatable, like a 200 million dollar order has been placed by county X.
Seems like such a wonderful opportunity for a short squeeze, but I've thought that for years.
Do the shorts have to win? Are the stock mechanics so skewed by the naked shorts that the pps is unable to rise until the shorts cover?

OK. Rather than Shetland ponies, what if instead we consider that we may be riding .... Steppe ponies? And eventually, the Horde will overcome?

^ Reminds me of YMB posters to be honest. au contraire kball This board should never be compared to YMB. We on this board truly enjoy our musings and lunacies - and though we may be idiots, we are at least, civilized and supervised, which can never be said about the YMB crowd. Now, if you'll excuse me, it's time for my medication Chris-C

^ Reminds me of YMB posters to be honest. Are you saying that the painting reminds you of YMB? Very funny. I like how humor is often used by the brave in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. At his Sunday sermon about fifteen years, a pastor I know told his congregation that he had Good & Bad news to share. "The bad news," he said, "is that I was told by my doctor this week that I have advanced Alzheimers Disease, so I am resigning as your pastor just as soon as another pastor can be assigned. The good news," he continued, "is that by this time next year, I will be able to hide Easter eggs and then go looking for them a half hour later." True story. I don't think we face insurmountable odds with all this short interest stacked against MannKind, but pktrump is right. Some weeks it certainly does feel like riding a Shetland into battle. Good humor, IMO, which was respectfully and tastefully responded to - unlike YMB much of the time. ...at least until I posted the Moonwalking Shetland video.

Ok, I've been caught, that picture was right out of my 10th grade history book... the famous storming of San Juan Heights led by Col Theodore Reptiliavelt.
Humor... I suppose that's the polite way of referring to Mannkind induced insanity.

Offering both levity and reassurance, or at least, empathy.
Well, actually, all of that.
For my fellow histophiles, definitely in stock history books. It is actually Steppe ponies, or rather, Mongolian Horses. The painting is from 1430, not clear on original artist.
If we follow the analogy out, I'm not clear if you consider the battle tactics of Khan and Mongols with the agility on those ponies and their hit-n-run tactics vs. the more organized infantries they encountered - which the short side of the MNKD bet would be best represented by. They seem like an impenetrable monolith or a walled city. On the other hand, the continual "Flash Dance" is something to spectate. Or maybe that's just the giant army poisoning the water supply.
I dunno. Its Sunday night.
GLTA this next week ....
