Over there they were debating the issue of having evil investors lurking on their board (I learned this while lurking over there)... now they're turning around and lurking on us Quick... everyone pretend to not be evil

I realize my Sergeant Schultz avatar is a Nazi, but I don't consider him evil.

I think Shultz represents the individual caught up i the follies of war without consent and deep understanding. He is simply trying to survive while staying as humane as possible. That is what made him so good a character.

Was Schultz actually a Nazi (political officer), or a German soldier?
At the time, there was a difference. While the concentration camps I think were run by Nazi's - Hogan and the heroes were in a POW camp (Stalag) - more likely run by the military (e.g. Luftwaffe), not the political officers... Though Klink, I'm not certain ....
Granted, yes - the military ultimately reported to the Nazis.

It seems validating Al Mann's point that insulin should be introduced early in T2 patients. I saw some posts from long-time T2 patient that she needs a lot of Afrezza (or other injectable insulin) to correct BG level. It's amazing you only needs 4U (that means insulin resistance is not severe yet?) That would be me, a He . I've only done insulin therapy in the past, other than 2 months on orals, and many years on nothing at all. I definitely think if I'd had Afrezza when I was 18, my resistance now, at 28, wouldn't be so damn horrible. I've basically stopped using Afrezza at this point until the 12U carts come out. I'll still use it, but maybe 20% of the time.

I was just sitting here thinking how funny it would be to have drinks with Spiro and Baba. Anything you want. I know I would laugh all night long. I love the banter between you 2. It's classic! Not sure it's possible to get Spiro and me together in the same place at the same time, but if it were, it would be fun to have a few drinks (soda water and lime for me, ouzo for Spiro) and laugh at when we all (ok, just some of us) were so apprehensive. Mn's right, a few real drinks and I'd be out!

There's Vegas to look forward to. I haven't heard baba mention a wife but if he does then her and spiro's wife might enjoy the casinos while we have a great time.
I don't know why, but baba reminds me of Michael Corleone ordering a soda water at the sidewalk cafe in Cuba while Fredo has a banana daiquiri.

My spirits are lifted after reading that thread Savzak shared & if you haven't watched the Adam Lasher video that was linked there you should He speaks from the heart from one diabetic to another , like I said months ago , social media will be responsible for spreading the word & it will be spread by diabetics who share their own experiences , all we need to do it stay out of our own way I'm happy to see first hand how much this drug is improving Lives Despite the current share price , reading that put a smile on my face I'm about to place a limit buy order , the ? Is how low should I go Joey ? I need to balance out the purchases I made at 9 & 10 ./ Lynn Down here in the low 5's is as good as any time IMO Lynn, they may bring it lower (sub 5 would be fleeting and stellar) but I think you'll end up feeling that the low 5's was a good time to purchase down the road.

We couldn't hold $5.50 so as I mentioned last week if that happened then we'd test the $5.10-$5.20 range...Hit $5.13. If the Rx numbers are over 200 then I think we don't drop down that far (again). Worse case is the numbers not being much more than last week, but I think that's a low probability.

The officers and enlisted men who ran the POW camps were members of the Luftwaffe. But, there was Major Hochstetter, who was a member of the Gestapo who Klink was quite scared of and even General Burkhalter, who was also a member of the Luftwaffe, would Kowtow to Hockstetter.

i wasn't going to update today, but some issues developed..
2/26 134
2/27 135 Started Afrezza at BK
2/28 131
3/1 119
3/2 115
3/3 114
3/4 113 Check this out, 119- 2 hrs after dinner, 84 - 4 hours after dinner, 88 - 5 hrs after dinner
3/5 100
3/6 101 The stupid Spiro now feeling invincible, convinced the other guys to eat 3 slices of pizza and 2 garlic rolls for dinner, followed by some m&m peanuts
3/7 116 The smart Spiro is really pissed off at the stupid Spiro. OK, but 116 is a lot better than 135. right?
3/8 105 Before going to sleep, 86, two weeks ago it would have been over 140
3/9 99 I am not too mad at the Spiro's for eating a sub sandwich and 3 chocolate covered cookies at the poker game last night
3/10 106
On 3/9, Ashiwi invited Spiro to a Miami Heat basketball game. Spiro lacking willpower ate a monster bucket of popcorn. Ashiwi ate a cheeseburger and a monster order of french Fries. he will soon be joining Spiro as a Type 2. Ashiwi even told Spiro, that popcorn refills are free. The seats were incredible, row 10, right behind the Miami Heat bench. Spiro was a little disappointed when the popcorn girl claimed she didn't know who Spiro was. A big blunder occurred at lunch today when the smart Spiro forgot to use Afrezza. It was not noticed until dinner time. Spiro then took his 11/2 mile walk and later checked his glucose at 11/2 hours after dinner. It was a respectable 82.
I sincerely appreciate the respect and support that I have received from the posters on this message board. You know after seeing how good my early Afrezza results were, they have influenced me to eat a little better and less quantity of food. I have actually lost several pounds. BTW, if the Spiro's forgets to take the Afrezza again, I may have to boot them out of the house.

When you wrote big plunder rather than big blunder, I thought at first you discovered where your wife hid the pin wheels. Insurance companies: Take note! If Afrezza can get an old Greek like spiro to pay attention, and encourages him to improve his eating habits, think of the compliance Afrezza will generate in diabetics who are not so ornery and stubborn. That's roughly 389 million diabetics. Marvelous progress, spiro, and don't fret that the popcorn girl didn't recognize you. I'm sure the cheerleaders did. I was hoping you'd post a picture of them posing with you.

Who do you think bought all those May 5 calls today? It was the popcorn girl and all her co-workers. After Spiro got their ear last night... The rest is history. Spiro spreading the gospel.

Spiro tried to start an Afrezza chant a few times at the game, but couldn't even get Ashiwi to join in. He was too busy watching the game and eating French Fries. It was hard to believe that not even one person out of 17,000 people would join Spiro and chant Afrezza, Afrezza. What are they nuts or something?
