After reading and seeing everything (pt feedback), if I've to explain to a layman what the impact of Afrezza is,
Can I say that
"Afrezza gives flatter BG readings that stays in the zone and competition zigs and zags in & out of the zone".
After watching numerous CGM's, this is what strikes me more than convenience factor.

This is what I have seen as well. More importantly, that is what diabetics are seeing. The question now is if endos and GP will "get it" and realize the positive impact that Afrezza has in keeping their patients' glucose level in a healthy tight range and embrace the fact that Afrezza is the real deal. But will they?

Endos will not believe it, until they see the new A1c results from their early Afrezza users. This will start happening in May and June, then Sanofi will start with their marketing campaign. Spiro's last 6 day fasting BG results, 94, 99, 88, 98, 95, 95. Big breakfast and pizza yesterday.

Ms. Spiro upset, though, as she has to buy Mr. Spiro new pants! Actually, Spiro has lost a few pounds since starting Afrezza.

Spiro or anyone else who is using Afrezz-
Does Afrezza work better in all of these tests?
A1C
fasting blood glucose
oral glucose tolerance test
random blood glucose
Which test will let Afrezza shine the most and which is the most important?

A1c: it will if the average BS stays low. Fasting blood glucose: it appears to be. Oral GTT: fasting yes, the others probably not much since you wouldn't take Afrezza with the test. Random blood glucose: depends on how random. If it's after eating and taking Afrezza, yes.

Isnt the improved fasting BG numbers that patients who use afrezza the most surprising and "imagine that" non label benefit?

Isnt the improved fasting BG numbers that patients who use afrezza the most surprising and "imagine that" non label benefit? It is, but if you think of it from the standpoint of shutting down hepatic glucose production and dulling the second phase insulin response it makes sense, at least in T2s. I still don't get exactly what is going on with T1s, but I'm trying to figure it out. In the T2 the decrease in hyperinsulinemia may lead to less insulin resistance, the basal insulin works better and the fasting BS is better.

The most surprising thing for me, was how rapidly my Fasting BG got to under 100 and basically has stayed there. I would not be surprised if I am spending between 10 and 12 hours per day under 100, if not more.
Spiro here

Spiro here With Afrezza covering your meals and your pancreas providing basal insulin, you're probably correct.
