From YMB, lakers_w ... I wonder why it took this long for them to file it www.faqs.org/patents/app/20150080298A method for treating hyperglycemia and/or diabetes in a subject is provided. In particular, the method is directed for the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who have a fasting blood glucose concentration greater than about 8 mM, wherein the patient is administered a formulation comprising a GLP-1 molecule and a diketopiperazine by pulmonary inhalation with a dry powder inhalation system.

Do any of you remember Al speaking out of turn about that, Hakan or Matt reminding him "we're not supposed to talk about that?" It was mentioned in discussion of the elements of the licensing deal for Afrezza with Sanofi, that's all I remember.

I think we came to the consensus that per the sanofi agreement, they basically get first right of refusal for a GLP-1 / technosphere combination.

That comment was in regards to "a new process" that we figured was for putting more than 12u of insulin onto the Technosphere carrier.
