Kball, I have thought about it and prob like most just keep thinking I will miss the big pop. I guess a related thought is how much is the tax harvest and what are the odds the PPS walks back to 10+ or pops or moves quickly. I personally always struggle with making losses permanent even knowing the rationale.

Good to see half a smile on your avatar, kball. It's a clever way to indicate your mood every day. I haven't worried about taxes, but now that I've opened a cash account to supplement the Roth, I'll need to study up on this important topic. The reason I'm posting is to air a discussion I recently had with myself (spiro isn't the only one with another personality). I asked myself, "what if a massive rally never happens and we simply keep growing at a reasonably steady rate for the next 3-5 years, would you still keep accumulating MNKD?" I answered myself, "Yes! What other stock do I know that has the potential that MannKind Corporation has with Afrezza and a pipeline preparing to development other Technosphere drug candidates - many of which can also become blockbusters because of this delivery technology?" I haven't found a stock that compares. Pop or not, this stock is golden.

I asked myself, "what if a massive rally never happens and we simply keep growing at a reasonably steady rate for the next 3-5 years, would you still keep accumulating MNKD?" Definitely yes. But as Savzak has experienced, how long do you want to be holding the bag? Where would you rank MNKD compared to others in the space? I think most can now agree that mgmt hinted at what 18-24 months after FDA would look like- don't get excited. We have to build. I've been looking at 2017s and starting to not see them as cheap. When is it cheap is the question. Problem with GS call, it lowers this point to 20-30% below their price target. So 2.2 to 2.5- would be levels we could see but most will buy before this point because of it. So if can't live with self if we do get there- sell now. If not that bad, why deal with possible tax situation? If biotech stabilizes, I plan on adding to position to play earnings. Any possible good news- we rally least 10%. That is nice thing about keeping stock at sustainable levels- big returns. I don't plan on holding but, we'll see the news.
