I find I can not forgive Hakan's recent stock sell at $4.85. He is making more than 1mil per year (plus sold ~350k worth before this already) and I do not believe he needs this money at this moment when the company's stock is under intensive attack by shorts. How can CEO do such a thing at this critical time? If he does not have the faith that MNKD is worth much more that its current price, then he should not be the person to lead this company. I hope there are someone who will attend the ASM can raise this point during the meeting.

I can't blame him for being smart. Rubes like me bought in at a PPS that assumed the drug was serving an unmet need. MNKD management is neither efficient nor trustworthy but they are smarter at maintaining their financial interest than I ever was. I never thought I could be so wrong in understanding what their 'embarassment of riches' comment actually meant.
I have no choice but to hold my position now but I will never again invest in any product, however good, before checking whether the management is actually competent. I'll soon celebrate an anniversary of kicking myself everyday.

Just look at the options he has. He's set for years and years to come.

Someone at the shareholders meeting should ask hacksan what his definition of shareholder value is, then schedule another vote to see if he should keep his job.

Not a lock, just a suggestion that anyone who holds less shares than Hakan cannot comment.

Why do you think it will go higher in the future and thus, be a better time to exit. How in the heck are you really going to figure out if management is competent? By the trend of the share price? At least that's an objective measure, regardless of whether accurate or not. It doesn't sound to me as though you are competent to figure out whether management is competent, at least not before you've "lived" with management for at least a year. Otherwise, it's more or less a guess. However, if you sell, but you're still gonna hang around here, then you might as well not sell. But otherwise, you may get some much needed moral support for you in your so far failed effort to get out of this company which has duped you. I was not duped at all by the company, if anything, it was more Spiro and Mannmade (and a couple of others) that did me in - very persuasive fellows, those two! When I first got on this board, I was really lukewarm at best about MNKD, but all these posters, why, they made it so difficult to stay on the sidelines. I think Spiro draws salary from MannKind, now I have no proof, but the circumstantial evidence is mounting, he takes a lot of expensive trips, eats at the finest restaurants, and they even let him use his Dreamboat when he's in there! Mannmade, well, he's a kind of sinister guy. Always seems to have access to the latest information, has contacts throughout the medical/pharmaceutical field, always suspected him of being a short, you know what I mean, poorneil, right?

I think Spiro should share some of his Mallomars.
