Lynn, I couldn't have saiid it better. You took the words out of my mouth. He is genuine. He has no financial interests in MNKD or SNY.

Where is that FUD about him, on YMB? OPC went a few rounds with him in the past and he (not AU) got into some shoolyard style name calling.
If you review the Adcom public comments you will see that he was the first speaker. (Try youtube.) At that time he disclosed that he was not connected with MNKD and had not been paid for travel or compensated in any way. I can only speculate that this is still the case.
My impression is that Afrezzauser does not travel to promote Afrezza, but travels in the course of business, and when he is on the road makes himself available to talk to people about Afrezza.
It is interesting that some people cannot imagine that a person would do something for selfless reasons, and that there must be some hidden profit motive. The motive for Afrezzauser might be to insure that Afrezza is successful and stays on the market. If you think that just because Afrezza works so well it cannot be buried by competitors and rapacious Wall St investors, you are naive.

What Lynn wrote rings true. He may not want to lose being able to use Afrezza ever again. I also think he may be motivated to show the true potential of Afrezza because he knows better that most how badly the FDA managed the trials...it was like they wanted it to fail. Frankly, were it not for a near-unanimous ADCOM vote for approval, I think the FDA would not have approved Afrezza.
All I know is that Sam is posting his experience using a CGM and concise explanations and anecdotal evidence, so that readers can make up their own minds.

Awesome. With all the noise around the share price this thread clarifies why I invest. Many thanks.

That makes sense if his job requires a bunch of travel. I just haven't seen anything saying what his job is. I truly believe how genuine he is, I just see negativity/FUD from the naysayers. I wish I could be like the pizza guy and just ignore the market for a year or so, unfortunately I lack the will power

Apparently it's true what is being said about Afrezza and weight loss. One look at spiro's photo and I feel lighter already!

So based on the picture, the Afrezza label needs to be amended. Not only is it ultra rapid acting, provides reductions in hypoglycemia and A1C levels, but Afrezza also provides the user with a youthful appearance and vibrancy!. Afrezza turns back father time. Forget Botox! Great picture guys, thanks for sharing.

After meeting with Sam for over 2 hours and personally observing his enthusiasm and excitement about Afrezza, I believe he is genuinely motivated to share his story. Why shouldn't he be? Heck, I am and I'm only a puny early Type 2. Sam did share the fact with Ashiiwi and Spiro, that he has money saved from his personal business that is allowing him to pursue his Afrezza advocacy, Ashiwi mentioned earlier that we sat there for 2 hours and watched his blood glucose react to his lunch. He accurately predicted what his BG would be before it registered on his Dexcom, This allows him to take a correction dose of Afrezza if needed. Unlike most other Type 1 diabetics, Afrezza has given Sam 100% total control over his diabetes. He mentioned that Type 1's need to be aware of the possible need for a correction dose 1 or 2 hours after they eat, depending on meal size. For early Type 2's like Spiro, using Afrezza is such a no brainer that it's frightening. Spiro has a simple motivation. He wants to prevent his diabetes from worsening and hopefully reducing the possibility of complications caused from excess blood glucose. One thing is certain, Afrezza works great. Sam knows it, Spiro knows it and hundreds of other diabetics know it. But it is unfortunate that only 1 or 2% of the diabetics in the U.S. even know that Afrezza exists. It's time for Sanofi to step up to the plate and start hitting home runs and get the word out.
Spiro and John here

Spiro and John here Spiro, do you have any before and after labs of good cholesterol (HDL), bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides? I'm interested in the effect Afrezza will have on the other parameters of the metabolic syndrome. Blood pressure and weight as well for a complete picture.

Tripoley, not sure about a decrease in cholesterol #'s, but I can say for sure that since Afrezza hit the market , my bank account #'s ($) have decreased significantly.

Ashiwi, I've had a similar reaction. Clearly a serious adverse effect. No warning, either!
Tripoley, I'm sure Spiro will give you a straight answer.
