Would it be unreasonable to think shrekli's negative sentiment on Afrezza is because he wants MNKD to fail before they expand and compete with his idea?

Maybe, but that punchable face is not going to find it as easy this time. Try bashing a drug that is there to help poverty-stricken dying mothers and see how many publicly side with that nonsense.
Clinical trials should be fairly straight forward. Whilst there will be rev's and profits these, IMO, are second to the kudos and awareness that will come off the back of it.
Very exciting times. (Let's see if the market agrees.........)

Or it's the first part of a few ways the drug will be used. Wasn't the presentation like a month ago about oxytocin and weight loss in diabetics?

^that was oxyntomodulin (for weight loss), not oxytocin.
