Received an e-mail on Friday relating to a "Coach Program" for Afrezza, a webinar if you will. I think it's a nice touch. Here is what it stated and I signed up for three sessions.
It states that my enrollment in the program comes with the Afrezza® COACH Diabetes Education Program. The COACH program may help you with your overall diabetes management. Through the program, you’ll receive product training and emails containing helpful tips and important information. You’ll also receive a free carrying case for your inhaler.
If you provided your phone number during enrollment, we will be calling you to sign up for the free education session. If you'd like to provide your phone number now, please call 1 866 991 2840 then press 3. These sessions are available online, or in person, depending on where you live. This session will help you understand how to use Afrezza® and provide techniques for sticking with your treatment plan. With the Afrezza® COACH program, you get support that is tailored just for you, with everyday tools to help with your overall diabetes management, at no cost to you. Whether you are at home, at work, or on the go, get helpful tips from COACH to assist you with everything from healthy eating to burning calories through everyday activities.

Surprised that this incompetent group would hold such events! I'M SHOCKED THAT THERE'S GAMBLING GOING ON ! ! !
Every now and then something surprises me. The thought that Sanofi would have educational programming about diabetes is most distressing. I just finished my first Coach session on what I thought was about Afrezza. It wasn't. It was a very good live program that I had gotten (so long ago) from my ENDO's dietitian. Any person newly diagnosed should receive the same canned program and should review it every couple of years. Tomorrow I have another program that I also don't know the content. Finally, I have the 3rd program on Thursday. It's supposed to be about how to use Afrezza.
You might think I'd skip the second program. But you never know what I'll learn. It's kind of like skinny dipping with Betty. Oh My, what I would have missed if I'd declined.

I have a type 1 friend and he tried the Afrezza sample pack and tried to get his prescription filled and was denied by his insurance. What was the information from Sanofi that stated they would run interference for him? He is seeing his Dr. on Monday and he is her first patient she is prescribing Afrezza. Thanks for your help

type 1 use the key. Hypoglycemia. fear of hypoglycemia the key. It sounds awful. I have had it before, most of us have, symptoms mimic drunkenness with potential accidents, injury and death. RAA insulins are potentially very hazardous and have quality control issues, education issues, no doubt about it.. they are only there for patent protection and profits BTW, I spend a few minutes some day having some fun on a blog: here are the weekly stats lately, huge interest Wall Street, my good karma will run over your greedy dogma whythefutureisbrightformannkind.blogspot.com/United States 735 Canada 25 Germany 9 Australia 8 France 7 Switzerland 6 Argentina 4 Bahrain 4 Czech Republic 4 United Kingdom 4

So far the first session was Intro to Diabetes. The second session was Intro to Counseling: Goal Setting. The third session tomorrow is supposed to be about Using Afrezza. I'll let you know how that turns out. I'm still looking for Betty.

I suppose that persons considering Afrezza use would get an idea of what they're getting themselves into will find it useful. By the time they are into using Afrezza for more than a week they will have questions that their Doctor or Afrezzauser or Afreezaguy or Spiro could answer. To their defense, Sanofi can't give such information because everyone has a different situation. Betty is only a memory
