Nearly a year ago (it seems like three) I posted one of MannKind's patents that deals with the development of inhalants to be used in chemical warfare and/or biological attacks.
Something tells me that having the Department of Defense or Homeland Security as a partner would be VERY lucrative for MannKind and its investors.

I think that might fall under "Pulmonary" drugs, no? Pulmonary was one of the three types of API's which the BOD approved to be developed in the Technospere pipeline, as I recall. There is also a photo of Al Mann in which there is a picture on the wall of him and President George Herbert Walker Bush shaking hands, so we know he has some connections. (chuckle)
