I called our local ABC affiliate this morning and asked if they'd be interested in broadcasting a new medical breakthrough (Afrezza of course). He requested an e-mail explaining the detail. Low and behold, I received a reply from the station's health reporter who wants to do a segment on Afrezza. Of course I agreed to go on camera and she was also waiting to hear from my endocrinologist. As mentioned yesterday, he is very pro-Afrezza and here is his chance to explain why in his own words. Afrezza users around the country may want to think about phoning their local stations. Most TV stations, especially the mainstream media, employ health reporters. They are always after new and exciting medical products and/or processes. Afrezza is still virtually unknown and ripe to be discussed for the public to digest.
I am waiting on the reporter to advise the timing and logistics.

Excellent news. Thank you from a stockholder and humanitarian perspective. It's a win-win if this drug takes off. It's cool to see the whole community buying in and showing how much we believe in this product. I'm a future med student (start next month ) and if I have the opportunity to prescribe this medication in 4 years, you bet I will do my part!

Thank you Brian for doing this and letting us know. It is absolutely great to have such proactive users of Afrezza on this board... and all over the web, as a matter of fact.

Good stuff! I just wish 60 Minutes or The Doctors would interview Al. Or at the least do a segment on Afrezza. Surprisingly, Al has remained on the down low since FDA approval......

I believe it is Raleigh, NC. Yes sir. North Carolina BBQ sauce...not so much molasses based as it is vinegar and mustard based BUT N.C. is home to Krispy Kreme Doughnuts so I would venture to say there should be a solid and interested audience ....speaking of audience, anyone have a connection with Sanjay Gupta, watch this video www.everydayhealth.com/hs/type-2-diabetes-live-better-guide/sanjay-gupta/diabetes-can-happen-anyone/ maybe he can talk to Sam & Eric & Spiro & Brian etc. etc. Sanjay gets a lot of viewers worldwide and has had quite a few segments on diabetes

joey, Still not working after your tweak. I see that, not sure what the problem is...I can get to it from my recent tabs but when I copy the link it goes to that page not working message from their website. Instead try this, copy this and it will take you to the page where it comes up at the top Dr. Sanjay Gupta: Diabetes can happen to anybody Copy this and put it in the address bar: Diabetes Can Happen to Anybody — Even Diabetes Doctors
