Hi everybody.
take a deep breath. the science hasn't changed. its revolutionary. whether it happens today or tomorrow, the science hasn't changed. anything with a $4 in front of it is a good time to buy; so in a couple years when we're looking back at this you aren't saying "why didn't I buy when i could have got it for $4!" I've been in this stock for years. I've had 100k shares, I've gotten down to zero shares. I'm adding more to my 50k shares again. this drug works. at some point it will pop up on diabetics radar. we have the luxury of knowing something that most don't know... yet. It sells itself.
I watch the stock daily. I buy dips. on bad days, I make sure that no one has come forth with cancer. they haven't. hopefully they won't. after holding through the trials, adcom, and fda approval, my balls are so big that this daily noise from Adam Fuckstein and friends just makes me laugh.
in the meantime I'm buying obese people donuts outside of Krispy Kreme. (you guys recognize a joke, right?)
Relax guys. Steve Jobs didn't need us to help build an iPhone. Sanofi built a worldwide empire without our help. Lets trust that Al and co. with the help of Sanofi have hammered out a business strategy that will flourish without our help. Perhaps it doesn't look like that now, but what company telegraphs their intentions, especially with a paradigm changing technology?
Have a great night!

I don't quite get you joke as today I was at Krispy Kreme and a nice person bought me a dozen of them and said to my health.

Well maybe if it came along with a case of a good red wine, then bon sante would have been appropriate. This stock can lead to occasional overindulgence. It's really amazing how short attention spans are these days. Too much social media (no complaints--- usually--- about this board), for example on ymb over the weekend, there were multiple aliases claiming the TIME ad was fake and they were very professional in FUD... very disturbing, very bold faced underlined, font 36 lies, repeated many times. Some very slick operators at work behind it all.

I would think such lies, so easily and clearly refuted, would be counter-productive - then again, what the hell do I know about what makes this stock go up or down.

I would think such lies, so easily and clearly refuted, would be counter-productive - then again, what the hell do I know about what makes this stock go up or down. Those lies are clearly targeted to the "largest stock discussion boards" and the ADHD afflicted retail knee-jerk reaction crowd. I am not saying that a causal relationship exists, but SEC has investigated (and not prosecuted to my knowledge) the hedge-fund/social media/etc.... connections. This may be the "Financial Industry" at work.

Lets trust that Al and co. with the help of Sanofi have hammered out a business strategy that will flourish without our help. Perhaps it doesn't look like that now, but what company telegraphs their intentions, especially with a paradigm chasing technology? Though Apple does recognize the benefit of talking up technology. For instance the Apple Watch doesn't seem to be flying off the shelf in numbers that wow anyone at this point, but rather than being silent Apple is talking about the number of apps people are writing and the additional features they are putting into the OS for it. This isn't merely for the benefit of shareholders... it is to help support the growth of an ecosystem around it. Convince developers that they should spend their time, convince users to purchase, etc. Not a perfect analogy but to some extent there is a need to grow an ecosystem around Afrezza. Why is a doctor going to rush out and bother learning to prescribe a new drug and perhaps acquire a spirometer if this may be a niche product or worse yet, doomed to Exubera fate. Sanofi needs to telegraph their intention to do what it takes to make this a mainstream treatment. You can revue the transcript and see that I've been an apologist for Sanofi supporting the notion that there were valid reasons not to spill the beans regarding sales projections, advertising dates, etc. However, I think now is time SNY needs to send the clear signal that they have every intention of making Afrezza mainstream. It's time for SNY to start acting like Jobs did once a product was released... or at least like Cook is handling Apple Watch.

This is the tactic of the original concept of "market maker" ….

This is the 6th month since the launch. DTC ads have been delivered. Everyone has kept quiet. SNY is having their throw down on the 30th before the market opens. I'm 4 days into Afrezza and liking what I'm seeing. If this is really "Zen and the art of MNKD investing" then all the planets should be in alignment by now. A word of caution: Pot Smoking is bad for you. Stick to edibles. ;-)

Now talk about a dose that's hard to regulate! Edibles! Maybe the next technosphere platform can be THC!

"Now talk about a dose that's hard to regulate! Edibles! Maybe the next techno sphere platform can be THC!"
Exubera already attempted that with their "Bong" device.
Didn't work out too well for them

Didn't work out too well for them Speaking about the bong. here is an oldie but golden MBA class report on why Pfizer failed. When you read it you can see why MannKind and Sanofi are going very methodically in the way they launched Afrezza. They know what mistakes were made with the Bong. faculty.tuck.dartmouth.edu/images/uploads/faculty/ron-adner/EIS__FinalProject__Exubera_110810.pdf

I don't know about Zen,but I can get behind some good Aesop
The Tortoise and the Hare has many parallels to wise investing.
Slow, steady, & patient = winner
