Sanofi realizes this is a great site to advertise one of their most promising diabetes drugs. Amazing what targeted web advertising can do, right? Now we know why Afrezza is doing so poorly. Attachment Deleted

That's not how it works. We use the same marketing for reverse mortgage. If you go to their (Toujeo) site the ad is going to follow you on other pages.
So go to say Banana Republic site and browse around for clothes. Eventually ads for Banana Republic will start popping up especially on message forums.
Its meant to bring you back and make the purchase you wlaked away from or inquiry.

I think its more the browser then it is the board. Every board has them.

I received a copy of Diabetic Living Magazine in my office today. 3 Page ad for Afrezza. Same ad as Time Magazine.

I lifted the below two sentences from the article today on the launch of DTC by Sanofi. Note the second sentence. Consistent with the behavior from the conference call. Eg; Sanofi does not speak to anything they do not have too. They do not volunteer information. Which is why I am not as concerned as others may be about their intentions.
"Other digital components of the campaign, which was developed by Havas Health, are also being rolled out. A Sanofi spokeswoman declined to provide additional information about the campaign, including spend."

Diabetic Living is probably a better DTC choice than Time. I haven't read Time magazine in years and I can't even remember the last time I saw it in any waiting room. However, I notice Diabetic Living at the checkout every time I shop at the grocery store, and as a recently diagnosed diabetic, I've been intrigued enough to buy the magazine each month it comes out for the past several months. I've read comments about how disappointed investors are in the slow DTC rollout, but my guess is that SNY is waiting on a more robust campaign until issues such as insurance reimbursement, better labeling and spirometry issues are resolved, and I agree with that decision.

yes, it is a total waste of money advertising if you patients can't get the product because their insurance doesn't cover it. Let them do their thing and get more favorable placement in the insurance tiers, then we will get banging on the full ads and stuff.

I think the idea behind the Time ad is to "send a message" that Sanofi is, in fact, actually serious about publicizing Afrezza.
Also, what's the circulation of Diabetic Living vs. Time? The Time ad gives the opporunity to all "FoD" (friends of diabetics? lol) to notice Afrezza and perhaps mention it to their diabetic friends who may not subscribe to Diabetic Living...
