baba - 75 days - read back in the post. I think you need some intranasal insulin! If you got this joke as soon as you read it, it means you've been spending too much time on this board... Yeah, but life is short - I take every chance I can to raz baba.

Congrats NC, GREAT results, we now have another doctor with wide open eyes. isn't it a great feeling to know that you have stopped high blood sugar from destroying your body? Spiro here Spiro, finally lowering my fasting numbers. Not near yours but I now have a fighting chance to build up the momentum in order to lower A1C.

nccapitalist,
I recall Spiro started on Afrezza three or four months ago. He also said that he was going to improve his diet after he got his first positive A1C results. Do you think that there is a connection between your improving A1C and your willingness to improve your diet now? If so, what was the reason why you delayed improving your diet before starting on Afrezza? There could be implications here for a new study...

When it comes to razzing, I'll be sniping at all of you soon enough! I kinda hate going after Liane, as she's such an easy target, but someone has to do it. I have to thank Spiro for explaining my plight, we'll be putting on packed sand before long. It took guts for him to defend me against Liane, as she has given him such a hard time in the past.
As for the number of days at 75, well, NC, I think when you have your next test, so long as it's after 120 days, you're going to see most all of the improvement you were hoping for.
By the way, if NC had placed that crucial information in the last line of his post, I may well have remembered it!

Robert, I did experiment periodically to determine how Afrezza would react to certain high carb meals, just out of curiosity. I am over that that now and want to concentrate on eating well to further lower A1C and health. It's not good in my opinion, to use Afrezza as a crutch or excuse to eat poorly, though you may be keeping your glucose down. Eating low glycemic vegetables and fruit along with protein (30-40 carbs/meal) is the right way to go to enhance your health. Eating crap food and subsidizing it with Afrezza is just craziness.
