suebeeee1,
Spiro is not certain why he was rejected by the TV lady. It's quite possible that it may have been a age discrimination event. When Spiro wears shorts his varicose veins are visible and there are no muscles visible when he wears a tight fitting shirt. Also Spiro is just a plain old ordinary guy and only wears one watch. To make matters worse Spiro carries a smart phone that is stupid, it only knows how to get MNKD stock quotes. Now if this TV lady had been a lot older, Spiro may have had a chance.
Spiro here, I hope Ashiwi told that TV lady that the Type 2's outnumber the Type 1's, by a 20 x 1 or so ratio. Hopefully Sanofi knows.

Now, if that TV lady does a video on how to lose money buying Biotech stocks, Spiro would be a star in that one. Baba could fly in from California and be a co-star. There is something just plain old not right about this MNKD story. We have the right owner, the right product and the right partner. Spiro refuses to start banging his head against the wall for now, because Fairy Tales almost always have a good ending.
Spiro believes that something very strange is going on between MNKD and SNY. The FDA validates Technosphere by approving Afrezza and MNKD is moving at slower than a snails pace to move forward with more Technosphere projects. So Technosphere was good enough to get an inhaled human insulin product approved by the FDA, but not good enough to quickly start another project? Give Spiro a break. Why are we are not hearing that statement of having a wealth of riches anymore? The wealth is still there, but MNKD is frozen in a block of ice. With the script numbers the way they are, it would be logical to expect that MNKD would be in panic mode and moving rapidly forward with multiple Technosphere projects and licensing partners, starting six month's ago. That's what a company with a wealth of riches would do. Instead, MNKD opens up lines 2 and 3, hires more scientists and is apparently oblivious to shareholder concerns. Spiro believes that MNKD has entered into some kind of an agreement with Sanofi which prohibits them from starting a pipeline and/or moving forward with other projects. It's either this or MNKD is the most incompetent Biotech company in history. But folks, Al Mann and his closest advisors are not incompetent and Afrezza/Technosphere is an incredible product.
Spiro here, obviously missing something

Spiro here, obviously missing something Yes, I missed something too, Sanofi advancing Toujeo first Look at this list of new potential blockbusters: www.ibtimes.com/11-blockbuster-drugs-watch-2015-1857100We all knew that a little.... Sanofi has the long-acting insulin, which fits hand in glove with Afrezza for mealtime use. But in this click-happy, instant gratification internet age, we all rationally know that DTC results take up to 8 weeks to see results, and DTC just began in July.... so what Hakan said about September may very well ring true. Hope so.... Regarding a Sanofi restriction on new Technosphere applications, I doubt it. But at the same time, I do monitor "particle inhalation scientist" positions nationally and globally and I'll tell you, many popping up on the radar, and they pay at least $100k each.... some top talent getting involved, so this is no time for penny-pinching, either. It's going to get competitive, Matt and Hakan. And Al, yes it's about the patient but "you've got serious competition brewing" --- all the best, Spiro, I love your sense of humor!

That block of is melting very quickly with the Ouzo that Spiro put in it. My guess is that global warming will melt that block before the end of the 4th quarter. But hey what the heck do I know.

Having held this stock now for a few years, we've been told about all the possible uses for the Technosphere technology. Why has no partnership with ANY other pharm been announced? One would think that, at a minimum, vaccine companies, pain med manufacturers, and others, would be lining up at the door trying to get associated with this new technology. Add to that all of the promises of merely a few more months wait before we see this landslide of riches (adcom, FDA approval, partnership, "soft launch ", 6 weeks for appt with endo, 4 weeks to get through samples, and now another 8 weeks to see the results of DTC. Toujou is covered by most insurers at mid level, name brand rates and all it has shown is that it is AS GOOD AS its generic equivalents. This doesn't pass the smell test. Maybe there is already a deal. Who knows? Certainly not me!

Can someone check with Mannkind why cancer trials aren't restarted? We've 3 Ph1 and 1 Ph2 completed for Melanoma. Wasn't a Nobel laureate involved in this?

MannKind not only completed Melanoma trials with MKC1106-MT, they also completed an advanced cancer trial with MKC1106-PP: Conditions: Ovarian; Melanoma; Renal; Prostate; Colorectal; Endometrial Carcinoma; Cervical Carcinoma; Testicular Cancer; Thyroid Cancer; Small Cell Lung Carcinoma; Mesothelioma; Breast Carcinoma; Esophageal Carcinoma; Gastric Cancer; Pancreatic Carcinoma; Neuroendocrine Cancer; Liver Cancer; Gallbladder Cancer; Biliary Tract Cancer; Anal Carcinoma; Bone Sarcomas; Soft Tissue Sarcomas; Carcinoma of Unknown Origin, Primary Intervention: Biological: PSMA/PRAME clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/results?term=mannkind+melanoma&Search=SearchIt was my understanding that MannKind tabled ALL further pipeline development after they received Afrezza's 2nd CRL. After partnering with Sanofi, and hiring a firm to help them determine what their drug portfolio was going to include, they selected two API to get rolling. My guess is that these two API were chosen because they can be developed quickly and relatively cheaply compared to MKC1106-MT/PP. It's also possible that they were chosen because one or more pharmas have expressed interest in collaborating with MannKind to develop those specific API. In other words, those drugs that will generate revenue in the shortest amount of time.

And yet, unless I am mistaken, MNKD has no drug actually announced as being in their "pipeline'. Do they need to start all studies over from conception? Where are all these(or any) pharmaceutical companies lining up to partner on potential drugs?
Does it seem to anyone else that some sort of deal must have been struck with Sanofi or other companies should be beating down our for!

The local ABC affiliate filmed an interview with Afrezzauser and Ashiwi yesterday. Type 1 diabetes and Afrezza was the major topic of the interview. Ashiwi is becoming a TV star. View AttachmentSpiro here, rejected by the TV lady
They both look buff! Sam gave me his work-out routine this morning. I'm going to put a few of my clients on it. These Endo's that don't want to try anything new were a wake up call to me. Easy to think after 20 years that there is nothing left to learn! Spiro are you adding free weights in addition to your walking?
