I don't believe this was posted but if it was, my apologies. diabeteshealth.com/read/2013/12/05/8075/artificial-pancreas-could-benefit-from-inhaled-insulin-therapy--/And while Afrezza wasn't mentioned in the article, a poster below did make it be known the study was using Afrezza. And more importantly, if the FDA is aware that the artificial pancreas is going to need a quick acting Insulin for it to be effective and knowing that Afrezza, from the data already collected, is a safe and effective drug delivery device, wouldn't that play a background reason to approve the drug? Again, Afrezza seems to a drug that can be used in so many different aspects of diabetes care that it's scary to think of how big a drug this could be assuming it gets approved and has the right marketing partner. Let's just hope politics and BP lobbying doesn't derail it.

While I think Afrezza would be the best pairing with the artificial pancreas, it could be argued that the RAAs also could complement it. I don't think this will play a major part in Afrezza's approval process.
