A while back I started a Thread about a T2 friend of mine who thought he was experiencing problems with one of the inhalers he received in his first prescription. In the thread I stated how I first called Matt and that Matt forwarded the message to the actual Designer of the dreamboat. The designer of the Dreamboat then called me and we talked about several possibilities and probabilities of what might be the problem. The gentleman, after being extremely helpful, then told me that all Afrezza related problems and concerns must handled by Sanofi and shared the 1-800-633-1610 Afrezza helpline I shared earlier. Just wanted to let everybody know that today I received a letter directly from Sanofi on this issue, they wanted to make sure the problem was resolved, and also want information from his Dr on how Afrezza is working for treating his prandial insulin needs. I took a picture of the original envelope, return envelope, and the cover letter. I will hand deliver this to my friend so he can have his Dr fill out the Medical Questions and share his Afrezza experience. Incredible the letter showed up the same day I shared the help number. I shared the pictures on my Twitter page, here is the link. Sanofi is very professional and interested in any feedback they get from this number. If anybody knows any Diabetics having any problems, or success stories. I encourage you to share this number so they can share with Sanofi. Good Luck Longs Rock

I find the note about the HIPAA Privacy Rule to be welcoming news, as it makes it easier from Sanofi to be gathering patient data. One can only guess what Sanofi might do with 2,000+ patient results, but I hope at some one peer reviewed study gets published which details the real world benefits of Afrezza.
