What are everyone's thought on your positions? I know this is a long term position rather than daily volatile price action (unless your a day trader) but it seems like many of us are scrapping to find some sort of news, press release from management, anything to justify MNKD's existence...I agree sales are mediocre at best and with many constraints are limiting the take-off of sales (e.g. insurance, awareness, etc.) but I am trying to find that infliction point and waiting for major catalysts (e.g. EU approval) have been exhausting and time consuming...I am long @ $6.50 w/ 10k shares and it has been a steep decline since then...losing about 50% of my portfolio... It is constantly dripping each day and I wanted to get everyone's thoughts on the light at the end of the tunnel and what's strategy on coping with this... I am a novice trader and done extreme due diligence prior to investing a significant chuck of savings into this... Any thoughts would be appreciated!

If you did your due diligence than you should have a plan and I'm not sure why you would want other people's advice for your money or in your case your savings.

I am confident that MNKD's on the ball and proactive management team will soon have an answer to stop the pps bleeding. They did it before and they will do it again. I've been long since 2008 and am stubborn enough to ride this out, but 1 percenter, was that post written in the sarcasm font? LOL

Personally, I'm taking the the third option and quietly adding...just about every biotech is/has been getting hit...the whole sector has been under pressure with the market sell off. Some should be correcting as they may have had valuations that were not realistic, but as has been stated many times before, market corrections bring opportunities...and IMO this remains a golden one

As of a few minutes ago, on paper, I am more than $170,000 in the red! Am I concerned? Um..Yes. Will I bail on MNKD? No. (caveat - if Sanofi fails to improve the label or insurance coverage doesn't improve within 6 months, I may reassess) I strongly believe in the science and I still believe in the company (Al anyway) to right the ship. It has been hard however. No investing advice for you but I will say that if you don't have a cast iron stomach, this stock may not be for you.
IMHO the best strategy is to either walk away while you still have money to protect, or, focus your energy on other things and let the hand play out. Stay away from the message boards. Right now they are toxic!!

I understand the frustration in share price & am hopeful the next 6 months will generate some good news. Too much to speculate but these rough days will not shake my confidence in Al or the science.

We're all inpatient about MNKD, the game has just started with approval and then partnership. DTC campaigns just started as well, I would at least wait a year before I can make a decision about this investment.
Long MNKD

I am LONG and will stay that way until my DD tells me to change. Sometimes it is very hard to stay positive in this space. Have a plan and stick to the plan. Planning to keep adding to my position.

Not very happy but being a child of the 70's it reminds me of the song by a little known group from Missouri named Head East. Their really big hit was:
Never Been any Reason Did you see any action? Did you make any friends? Would you like some affection Before I leave again?
Well, I've been walking behind you Since you've been able to see There's never been any reason For you to think about me
Did you have any bad dreams? Did you break any glass? Would you be my companion Is there even a chance?
You've been talking in circles Since I've been able to cry There's never been any reason For never telling me why, yeah, yeah
Save my life I'm going down for the last time Woman with the sweet lovin' Better than a white line
Bring a good feeling Ain't had in such a long time Save my life I'm going down for the last time
Have you ever been lonely? Do you have any fun? Do you ever think of me? I'm just another one.
You never give me no answer You never tell me the truth There's never been any reason For me to think about you, yeah
There's never been any reason There's never been any reason There's never been any reason
Save my life I'm going down for the last time Woman with the sweet lovin' Better than a white line
Don't you know She could bring a good feeling Ain't had in such a long time
Save my life I'm going down for the last time Save my life I'm going down for the last time
Save my life I'm going down for the last time Save my life I'm going down for the last time
Save my life I'm going down for the last time Save my life I'm going down for the last time
So all I can say is :
Save my life I'm going down for the last time.
Stay long and hopefully this will be the last time of seeing the share price this depressed. Something is happening but who knows what or when it will happen.

I am exposed in MNKD practically the same as You... Around 12K shares at 6.5$ per share. So now loosing an incredible 50%.
I am not suggesting nothing to You but, personally, I hold my position in MNKD and still adding 100-200 shares per month. (I ve to be very calm not to buy a big amount at this price level, but I don't want to expose too much my self; I am confident in MNKD but I still give a chance to a failure of my investment).
Quite sure, the road is still long here, and if no big news on the road, personally, I will wait the February 2016 conference-call including Afrezza results from Q4 2015 and hopefully some updates on the pipeline. Then I will decide.
I know that by February if scripts will be still low then PPS can be really at 2 or lower (and I will loose more then now, obviously). I ve to accept this risk. Also I believe Q4 will be more and more important to understand what's happening behind Afrezza and MannKind.
From now to February I will just following scripts and why not, may be in October ... or November .... or Christmas , we can have some news about Technosphere pipeline. We never know. We are going down every day ... yes .... But supposing MNKD will succed (as we believe) there will be days for sure where PPS will increase 50% and more and We don't know when these days will be. (take a look what happened in one night after the ADCOM)

In short, anyone who cannot sustain 100% loss of investment should not be invested in such a volatile stock or biotech in general. If you're in right now with a significant loss (as I am, 24k shares @4.99) assess what losing your remaining balance would mean to your standard of living. If loss of investment will not affect the way you live AND you have months-years to sit on possible "dead" money, then hold and you may be rewarded.
