Some kind of news should be out soon about the note. Let us hope it is not today. Any news about the note would likely be a positive event, not likely to be anything but full resolution. I would speculate the news will come with another manufacturing milestone ($25mill). These notes have been an enormous drag, once it's off the table the financials will look much neater. I hope to see a press release after hours today. |

I think I read that MNKD gets the reimbursement for costs from SNY on 10/2. Does anyone remember? I will see if I can find it.

Not sure so I can't confirm but I would have thought reimbursement happens continuously? I'd like to think Matt's holding off on announcing the notes being payed off until he's able to pair the announcement with some incoming cash.

The markets is clearly showing that it is unhappy with "no news". While we all figure it is good, they are not seeing it as clearly as we are. Hold tight folks.

Perhaps they wanted to wait until we're closer to BofA returning 9 million borrowed shares? Incidentally, payment by Sanofi is due NET-15 or NET-30 after each shipment. I forget which, but it's spelled out in the Supplier Agreement.

Could it be that Mannkind is waiting for booking the $25 million manufacturing milestone payment so that they can announce the debt settlement together with the booking? According to this article, "the Goldman Sachs team thinks the insulin maker could receive another $25 million milestone payment from Sanofi at some point during the third quarter in connection with the manufacturing of Afrezza." |

I'm thinking along that line as well, that MannKind will be issuing press release(s) sometime after the market closing today and before trading resumes tomorrow.

I think I will put my money on the Friday after 4 PM announcement on the debt. Like they did with the shelf filing. That was a smooth move
