That was very unsatisfying. Al is losing his ability to speak. He sounded extremely defensive about trial results by repeating numerous times that performance will be better as patients learn how to use.

Crap, rak, thanks for the update. I won't get a chance to listen till tonight at earliest. What's your take on partnership status based on any comments made at conference?

I agree. MNKD should hire a professional spokesperson to deliver these presentations. How about Leo Decaprio. We need a wolf to deliver the Afrezza message. Al unfortunately has too much stuttering and ahh ahh going on. It's a shame. Nothing new ONCE AGAIN. Would be nice to have been able to hear questions in the break out room.

Ashiwi said it best, No news delivered poorly. In desperation I will try to make an excuse for Al's performance. Al had to wake up at 4:30 or so, since it must take him longer to get dressed and get his act together. Therefore, he should have set the alarm for 3:30.

"What's your take on partnership status based on any comments made at conference?"
There was absolutely NO reference to status of partner negotiations. Not even indirect reference by mentioning Greenhill. Possibly he will say something in breakout session, but not sure if we will ever know for certain.
Having listened to Al for past 7 years, there is no doubt his age is starting to catch up w/ him. This causes me to give more serious consideration to a sale - either total MNKD or just rights to Afrezza.

Not to be a contrarian but I think (imho) the conference went exactly as was expected and this is reflected in the current stock pps reaction which is stable. A good thing in my mind at this stage. As far as Al is concerned I am fine with him as this is his baby and his money I am riding the coattails of. Have been invested for over 4 years and have well into six figure of shares. And I buy at every chance I can. Seems to me that what I did hear of note was that the PDUFA date so far has not been moved and would indicate that Ad Com is for scope of label. However all is still a guess on my part. Final answers is... "science" and I believe in the science so will wait another 3 months... Again just mho... And I understand the frustration but we are close...

I would take a sale, If the money was right. Surprised the share price is holding like it is.

IMHO, assuming if everything goes well we should hear about a partnership after the AdCom (to finalize the labeling) and before the PDUFA date.

I think Al did just fine. He is getting old, and I'm sure he was tired from getting up very early. I enjoy hearing from Matt and I think he does a nice job, but Al is the guy who I really want to get insights from, as he is the one person who really knows what is going on behind the scenes. Those who were expecting big news from one of these presentations hasn't been following the company which has done these multiple times per year for many years using a very similar Powerpoint with minor tweaks, or they just built themselves up for something that was very unlikely to transpire.
The market didn't seem to think the presentation was a bust as the stock pps held very steady.
To be a further contrarian, why would a partnership deal be announced after the AdComm and before the PDUFA (which is a mere 2 weeks later)? That doesn't make any sense to me at all. Then again, I really have know idea what will transpire or when. I'm more than happy to hold my shares until I find out, and I'm confident it will be sooner than later.
