Oops, my mistake it was from 2010. I have been looking off and on numerous times today for some kind of report an didn't notice the date. I guess Al talked a little today. Spiro Mann, of course, is Mannkind's founder and CEO (and lightning rod for controversy). For those who don't follow my coverage on Twitter, Mann put on an entertaining performance Tuesday during his breakout session at the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference. He boldly predicted full approval "within days" of the FDA completing the inspection of the insulin manufacturing facility, which he guessed could happen within the next 2 to 4 weeks. (That guess is not based on any discussions with the FDA, he added.) Mann also said that Mannkind will sign a partner within months and that the company continues labeling discussions with the FDA. Longtime followers of Mannkind have heard Mann make these promises before. Critics bash him for not following through, and supporters believe time will prove him right. -- Reported by Adam Feuerstein, now flying at 37,439 feet above Lake Michigan investorvillage.com/mbthread.asp?mb=1492&tid=8444333&showall=1

spiro, thanks for posting. I would have never seen that if you didn't share.
md, that's one of the funniest things I've read in a while! You gave me a good chuckle! :-)
I think Al knows with 100% certainty he has a partner. The only question is it one of the global BP's that we all desire, or will he have to settle for regional partnerships around the world. I also wonder about co-promotion in the US, with MNKD directly handling the message to Endos? We shall all find out soon...

OK, I know I'm reaching here, but why didn't AF post something negative from mnkd presentation, since apparently he was there? Reason could be he senses blockbuster good news and doesn't want to lose his last shred of credibility.

I think AF isn't welcome at MNKD events and is barred from attending due to something that happened in 2010. No evidence other than he is bashes the stock given any opportunity which leads me to believe Al has made it clear he is never welcome to attend anything they do.

I don't think our buddy Marty is very welcome either. "Mannkind:(MNKD_) Last year, hedge fund manager Martin Shkreli and Mannkind CEO Al Mann got into a shouting match during the company's breakout session. I'm not sure any investor cares enough about Mannkind this year for there to be the same level of drama, but you never know. Regardless, Mann is always entertaining.Mannkind:(MNKD_) " www.thestreet.com/story/11364684/5/biotech-2012-kickoff-party-investor-preview.html
