NASHVILLE, TENN. (PRWEB) November 02, 2015
Seeking to spread a message of hope to the estimated 29 million Americans living with diabetes, an American Idol contestant and a country music star have joined forces with medical professionals to lift their voices in song and tell the world it is possible to be living “Needle Free.”
www.prweb.com/releases/2015/11/prweb13056413.htm
"The promise of a needle-free life is music to the ears of people who suffer from Type 1 diabetes, an autoimmune disease where the pancreas does not produce the critical hormone insulin. Since the discovery of insulin in 1921, patients with Type 1 diabetes have required daily injections of insulin and painful finger-stick blood glucose monitoring in order to survive. However, as “Needle Free” promises, change is coming with the arrival of needle-free insulin delivery, minimally invasive glucose monitoring, and the exciting possibility of new medications restoring the body’s ability to regenerate insulin-producing cells."
----
Remember me posting about how early intensive insulin therapy can repair the pancreas? This is a message that MannKind/Sanofi needs to get out there... there is a future without needles for many diabetics:

It seems an appropriate day to cast my vote for "Needle Free" as MannKind's anthem. I, hereby, move to require that it be played at MNKD's next Annual Meeting.
Imagine: It is played as a finale for the meeting, stockholders are on their feet, swaying in unison, hands in the air holding (not lighters but) internally lit mini-dreamboat key-chain giveaways.
Sanofi, I grant you the marketing right to have 500k of these made and handed out WHEREVER this song is performed live.

Just sent the following to Sanofi Customer Service:
>>Hi
Please forward this to your Afrezza Sales/Marketing Dept.
I am a stockholder and have become aware of the song, "Needle Free." youtu.be/DgT1Yomul24
I suggest the following as a brilliant and inexpensive way to promote Afrezza. Have 500k mini-dreamboat key-chain giveaways made and handed out wherever this song is performed live. Naturally, Afrezza would be prominently displayed on the side and, perhaps, they could double as led flashlights or be internally lit. Here is the scene: As "Needle Free" is performed, concert goers are on their feet, swaying in unison, hands in the air holding (not lighters but) internally lit mini-dreamboats! The key-chains remain with fans and, then, become excellent conversation starters.
I understand formulary headwinds but let us giddy-up on the Afrezza marketing<<
Thanks for the link, mssciguy
