Jay may not have been in bash mode but I thought the article itself had a negative tone. When the author says,"Further, sales of Sanofi’s diabetes drugs, including MannKind’s Afrezza, which it entered into an agreement to market along with its other diabetes drugs, are expected to continue slowing." she's implying that Afrezza sales are also declining, which of course they are not.
