There were a couple of pretty critical articles on "calcalist" yesterday. One of them -- as I recall -- was hinting that something was up with regulators over there.

"Globes "has learned that the ISA has decided today to make a move to prevent the ETFs participate in the offering, which resulted in its cancellation. Heavy pressure on representatives of Mankind - which is controlled by Hmiliadr and philanthropist Alfred Mann (who serves as chairman" Company R) - have failed to change the decision.
Capital market sources said today that at noon the Authority informed the companies that the ETF shares to be issued tomorrow Mankind block will be defined by it, namely those that can not be selling them on the market for several months. This means for the ETF is in reality they will not be able to buy shares in the issue, since the certificates are generally only hold marketable assets, ie those that can be sold immediately in case of redemption."

There's this article: from "calcalist"But that doesn't say the listing has actually been cancelled.

Funny (but also sad) that i missed an opportunity to buy in the low $3's last week due to a conference call tying me up. Now it's pushing to crack below $2. Has quite the falling knife feel and making me wonder if i should continue to wait to buy. A mixed bag of excitement for a good deal and profound disappointment.

Unknown, but certainly dilution in the open market at around $1.75 seems possible. Shorts come out well.

So all analyst and hedgies knew about this probably for the last 2 weeks and us retailers left in the dark yet again. It's unfortunate because I do like to check my stocks everyday but this one is just becoming a horror film.

Okay let see if I got this straight. They are blocking the new shares since they are restricted, hence no offering. So the offering is canceled, so no new money to MNKD, but index ETF's are still going to re-balance and need to buy MNKD shares(hence on the open market), right? Guess that will be the next bit of bad news that they are prevented from joining TA-100 and 75.

Here is a pdf of the article on globes. Is it me or does it feel like the same people involved. GS, Olsen, etc. They are all mentioned in the article.

Good point, Anderson. Will the ETF's be forced to buy on open market, driving up price of shares? Dilution would be a lot less painful if we could get PPS higher. Would also be great for Al to fund out his line of credit to buy a little time in the meantime.

Isn't this a "material event"? Should MNKD release some kind of statement?
