I wouldn't... I would issue what ever is required after the deal goes thru.
Anything they ever say only gets torn apart and thrown back in their faces in a way they didn't intend.

I believe MNKD will issue a press release. Eom. I would'nt hold your breath on the company issuing a press release. They have a history of not issuing press releases on anything of substance.

Press release rebuking a false Adam "untouchable by the SEC" F. Twitter publication when management is very vague on their own conference calls? I wish but not happening.

Spoke with Roberta at MNKD Her message is..... ( all she is permitted to say) They are aware of the rumors and something is being prepared by Matt. I would assume that it needs to be appropriate to the situation on hand. That is: the state of the TASA filing an the rumors being propagated by AF and like. I hope it will be a substantive reply. We stockholders need some answers. In essence she said all she could. When I asked if the press release would happen this trading session, she could'nt say. Yes, I was surprised to have my call returned but I would be reassured by a forceful and substantive response from mnkd. MNKD management needs to speak out loud now. Show your outrage and show your care. This is what a leader does when your territory is under attack no matter how hard this real situation is. I am disappointed!

I am disappointed! PR's denouncing false rumors is not where I want their attention spent. I would rather them take the 2 hours they would spend on creating a statement to call potential partners for new licensing deals. I know some people want them to communicate more but unless it's something substantial relating to a new business development I don't need to hear from management.

Look, I know Hakan Edstrom. I worked directly for him. He does not put out press releases for the sole purposes of placating nervous investors. These are real executives running a real company. They don't issue constant press releases like a bunch of other penny stock scams, all for the purpose of (unsuccessfully) lifting their stock price. That tactic never works in the long run and this is a company with a very long term plan. The philosophy at Mannkind has always been to let the science speak for the company. The more people who get treated with Afrezza, the more the stock price will take care of itself. Some people think that only issuing press releases when absolutely necessary is a bad thing. I see it as a mature, responsible thing that doesn't lend itself to "hype" which is what many of you are craving for. If there are material, provable actions that people are doing to manipulate the stock, let the SEC take care of it... and that is exactly what MKND said they are letting them do. It's not MNKD's responsibility to address every nervous nellie or message board basher. Their time is better spent elsewhere.

This is just a formality. Already planned and announced yesterday.
Yes it's good news. It keeps the doors open for a couple years.

I disagree. the CEO should be using twitter to rebuke false rumors instantly. check out how Elon Musk used twitter to fight against the bashers of Tesla Motors. its the new way of communications and he has to fight back. I don't see this mgt team as aggressive enough on communications. I am not saying I like it, but it is what it is....

I don't care what Elon Musk does. If he's literally confronting bashers on twitter, that's just dumb and immature... and only encourages more bashing. I would never invest in a company whose CEO was using part of his day to confront bashers on social media... amateur move. Like there's not enough hours in the day already?
