Closed @ 10.99 NIS (shekels) or $2.83 USD at today's exchange rate on volume that ran a little over a quarter million.
Unless the TASE adds last minute transactions after closing, MNKD is up 37.03%
So it appears that 97% of $2.83, or $2.74 (USD), will be the price base for the TASE ETF's November 15 (Sunday) purchase of up to 50M shares of stock from MannKind Corporation.
That is a LOT BETTER than most thought it would be around this time yesterday.
I repeat what I wrote in another post this morning: I think AF goofed and ran his deceptive little trick a day too early.

Great news. Fare to say that Adam prematurely . . . Commented is what I meant. Shame on all of you. :)

Forgive me if this has already been determined on another thread, I just logged on this morning, but did this price jump happen before the close of the TASE so it registers for the 50mil shares price offering?! And if so, are we 100% sure?

Looks like the numbers I posted are a little off, delayed TASE postings now show 10.48 NIS or $2.70 USD for a 31% spike.

Where are you seeing this closing price? When I look I see 12.00 shekels at 17:30 and it doesn't start to decrease until 17:34. This places it at $3.09 in my mind. Edit: Military time

So that would be roughly $135 mil for the entire 50 mil shares
Edited to correct my fat finger mistake.

The TASE site indicates a closing price of NIS 10.48, which equals to $2.7248 (using an exchange rate of NIS to USD= 0.26; www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=nis%20to%20usd). Still very good price (especially considering this is + 30.67%), which will yield to about $127 million for Mannkind, assuming Mannkind sells 50 million shares at that price (and taking out discount (3%) and placement fees/commissions (3.5%)). You will note that the price of NIS 10.48 has a "C" notation on it. You move your mouse over to the notation, it says Closing Price. It appears this is the final closing price. www.tase.co.il/Eng/General/Company/Pages/companyMainData.aspx?ShareID=01136639&CompanyID=001652&subDataType=0&This $127 million number is much better than most people expected yesterday (especially during the morning hours) as I think a lot of us at that point would expect Mannkind to be able raise less than $100 million. That additional $27 million will be able to support at least one (and probably a little bit over one) additional quarter of cash burn of Mannkind.

So what would be roughly $135 mil for the entire 50 mil shares So translating that to "time" - that would give MNKD an additional several (4, 5?) more months of operating expenses compared to how this deal was looking yesterday?

Edit: Military time Looking at the TASE trading schedule, it seems like the close is between 17:24 and 17:25. www.tase.co.il/eng/tradingandclearing/trading/trading%20schedule/pages/tradingschedule.aspxThat places the closing price as I saw it between 13.00 and 12.00 shekels, or $3.39 to $3.09. Derivatives close trading at 17:35, at which point the price was 10.48 shekels or $2.70 as you had said in a later post. Edit: Just saw the above post by compound. All is clear to me now. Close at 10.48 shekels -> $2.70

I'm still learning my way around TASE. There is now a little "C" next to the 10.48 NIS which, when I hover my mouse over it, says "closing price" so it appears that $2.70 USD x 97% discount = $2.619 USD will be the base purchase price for the TASE ETFs on Sunday...

mn, not so sure about the prices as quoted on this thread being the buy in price. Remember the chart showing the times of trading for TASE - there's that theoretical close at 5:15,not sure what that is all about. It would be great to have the indices buy in at 1048, but I think the 5:15 price may be the one. Some evidence of that is that 10:15 PST is when the stock shot up here - the "certainty," to the extent there can be any with MNKD stock, was in at that point.
For myself, I'm not going to set myself up for disappointment when we actually get confirmation of the price, I've been disappointed enough lately.
