So a spin off of a non profit with no funding (a non profit opening up a spin off? Wow how rares and novel...) is going to help Mannkind bring a drug to market. All we are missing now is a few 100 millions to get this going.

TP, as others also pointed out isn't set up to do anything past being a research institute and isn't important in any future deal other than controlling 1/2 the IP (that Mannkind really needs). Mannkind is not in any better shape obviously so both need a deep pocket to get this going. And it would take 10 years at a minimum. A deal with a well funded partner would obviously be a huge highly symbolic win though.

I posted a paper naming the TP compound and its effective therapeutic effect. Could someone dig it up? To commercialize the inhaled compound, Mnkd, TP need a deep pocket, patient partner as it is not bio equivalent to anything. It would take 4 phases of trials. The drug borders on the miracle, non-opioid. It would be a multi-BB. I have seen a forgotten compound became a BB if it falls into a strong hand.

Did anyone see Trump speak yesterday on the national emergency declared on opiod use?  He is calling for development of non addictive pain meds to be developed and it is front and center for approval.  Was on Fox news yesterday afternoon.

Can someone provide a least speculative path as to TP and MNKD? Or is this stirred due to POTUS and Opiode annoucement? Is this a side deal for MNKD.. "Drug our delivery" or bigger than that.. PPS estimates?

If you are an co-inventor of something you will always be.  There is no way of taking an inventor off a patent.  This is not in any way a tie between a company and an inventor.  MNKD has been assigned all rights (I would presume with 99.99999% certainty).

Really... a PPS estimate on bored people talking about something we've heard nothing about for years.  I'd say about $3.45 as long as you also count the value of Afrezza and other technosphere APIs and discount for time and potential dilution.
