KBIO was trading for under a dollar and has a float of less than two million shares. Buying up the float involved a couple million dollars. In Wall Street terms, that is easy manipulation.
As much as I'd love to see it, buying up the entire float of 270 million shares would require hundreds of millions of dollars. That puts it in an entirely different league than KBIO.

I'm in for sure. What if everyone kicked in $100?

This seems like a great way for retails to lose more money in one fell swoop. Hedge Fund manager needs a new G5(!) and I for one am not interested in funding this cause. I hope this thread is just light humor.

Jeremg: Can you please expound? I am not disagreeing. I am just curious Well I simply think this idea is completely nonsensical if not impossible, retails could not cause a squeeze. Any accumulation that is currently taking place on the retail end is simply padding the pockets of "shorts" further. Until we have accumulation on material news, new money will just sweeten the pot for the next raid; this has been the case time and time again as we've reached new lows despite every previous low being a "great deal!".

Romantic gesture but very doubtful will / could happen. Martin hates MNKD so he won't be a 'saviour' and the 30-or-so willing peeps here on ProBoards won't make a dent.
Personally, I'd like to know why the real money hasn't taken a cue from Martin gobbled the float up - things maybe worse than I want to believe?

Apparently there is some covering in process lately, share lending interest rate has dropped, shares being returned.
