I am not taking exception. You can start the rumor you want to start (it's the type of thing that goes over well in these situations...). And yes the smiley face should have made it clear to me that it was just dark humor... ? Does that clear it up?

Freaking out to what end? I don't even entertain the idea that Matt would ever speak to me, so I'm certainly not going to waste my time trying to reach him. I'm not going to dump all my shares when there is no new business related info, simply because the share price is falling. I know all too well that this stock continues to be under heavy attack by shorts so no reason to believe this ugly movement has to indicate some dire info that I don't have. Don't panic, just decide whether you plan to sell on price action alone, or if this is going to be a hold for you until there is some real clarity positive or negative. Sadly, we may well be in for a couple of months of no news. If you smart/lucky enough maybe one can time trading this with great benefit... selling now and buying back in at some future bottom. I know I lack the insight/luck to do that, so I'm just holding... pending some real business related info that would make me sell. My Goodness, Why in Hell would I even consider calling Matt...or anyone else at MannKind? Why would I expect to get any information on a phone that I should be able to read in Press Releases? Why would I expect the home office to take any suggestions from me? Nothing could be further from my mind. Let Matt call me. Or better still....why don't you mental giants ask Matt questions during Conference Calls.
Instead I had a meeting with my ENDO's nurse. We talked about how patients on Afrezza at their office were doing. I asked if the ENDO wanted me to cut my Basal again. I should know later today.

As a wound specialist I cared for diabetics with severe wounds and limb loss After 25 years as a wound specialist I was really impressed with the reports by the diabetics using Afrezza. I knew it was revolutionary, but I didn't know that the HF/MM, BP, doctors, insurance companies and some on wall street, that are ruled by greed, fear, shortsightedness and antisemitism would work to destroy this company. I can only hope that some one or group will help make sure that diabetics of the world will have access to this ground breaking process. I believe many millions of limbs and lives will be saved if Afrezza is given the chance.

I am not an expert, however, my understanding is an insider (i.e. Al Mann) can buy stock in the open market as long as it's not based on non-public information and that the insider (or purchaser of over 5%) provides proper legal notice in accordance with SEC laws. In other words, insiders could be buying stock today (but I have no information that they are just in case jpg take exception to my post!) Because of the rules governing material non-public information, insiders at Mannkind are not buying stock at this time (except for Mannkind's employee stock purchase plans). Trend Trend: I don't think you have it right. Insiders can buy stock in the open market as long as their purchases are not based on non-public information. Stock Purchase Plans are used so that the insider has a clear defense against others claiming that their purchases were based on "insider information" (i.e. gov agencies & other shareholders). Granted it's risky without such a plan, but in and of itself it's not illegal.

Does the following quote apply to this situation: “Be Fearful When Others Are Greedy and Greedy When Others Are Fearful?'

Basically everyone is screaming for insiders to buy and for Al to come in and scoop up 50 million shares but technically what if they can't due to pending events? Again I think Hedge Funds know everything that is going on with regards to the partnership and timeline and are just drilling the share price with no concern whatsoever. Either way I look at it it's ugly but I'll hold on for the ride.

Does the following quote apply to this situation: “Be Fearful When Others Are Greedy and Greedy When Others Are Fearful?' I do NOT think Buffett had this management team in mind when he spoke this famous quote.

Since he made that quote to Charlie Rose in 2008, I very much doubt that Warren Buffet even heard of MannKind Corporation.
That said, I think that a 1974 quote by the lengendary Buffet remains one of my favorites:
"I call investing the greatest business in the world … because you never have to swing. You stand at the plate, the pitcher throws you General Motors at 47! U.S. Steel at 39! and nobody calls a strike on you. There's no penalty except opportunity lost. All day you wait for the pitch you like; then when the fielders are asleep, you step up and hit it."
---
That's how I feel about buying shares of MNKD. Like I'm gonna knock this one outta the park. I know that it doesn't make sense to some of you, but it's exactly what I expect to happen. I think I have posted enough evidence to have supported my conviction and to justify my continued accumulation.

Does the following quote apply to this situation: “Be Fearful When Others Are Greedy and Greedy When Others Are Fearful?' Absolutely! Unless of course, "Don't throw good money after bad" applies. Ask me again in about a year and I'm sure I'll know which it was. My crystal ball only seems to predict the past. mnholdem... if you aren't buying on leverage and you have unlimited money, you may do well accumulating more as long as you can keep doing it even if the stock still falls further. We may have some significant dilution, but if one still has ability to anti-up at that point you could come out whole. Unfortunately even if I were inclined to buy more (and perhaps I will if there is some bottoming catalyst like a secondary), the amount of money I have to anti-up further rather pales to what I've already put in.

Warren Buffet is not the kindly old man that we think of when we think of Al Mann Berk's latest merger led to tens of thousand of layoffs, no hopes of being rehired. He is a donkey. Munger too.

Because Mannkind has not disclosed significant stuff going on behind the scenes with both Afrezza and Technosphere, all the knowledge and information they possess could be characterized as material non-public information. Thus, it's unlikely they would feel comfortable purchasing stock on the open market other than in preapproved employee stock purchase plans. They were already spanked pretty hard in the past because of a previous class action lawsuit so I imagine they are not taking any unnecessary chances. Trend

I'm doing pretty good for an Old Guy. 4 months ago when I started Afrezza my Basal was 28 units. Today my ENDO dropped it from 14 Units to 12 Units. I have no idea what's to come....but if you call Matt tell him I'm doing just fine thanks to Afrezza.

I called him-- Got his VM-- Not that getting him would have done any good but at least on the VM I told him what I thought-- Doubt he will listen to it-- I basically said quit letting us get beat up-- defend us and yourselves. Tell us something-- ---- anyway-- I realize he can not say anything that is proprietary, but at least I said what I wanted to say-- still hanging in here with more than I should have.
