My Goodness, Why in Hell would I even consider calling Matt...or anyone else at MannKind? Why would I expect to get any information on a phone that I should be able to read in Press Releases? Why would I expect the home office to take any suggestions from me? Nothing could be further from my mind. Let Matt call me. Or better still....why don't you mental giants ask Matt questions during Conference Calls.
Instead I had a meeting with my ENDO's nurse. We talked about how patients on Afrezza at their office were doing. I asked if the ENDO wanted me to cut my Basal again. I should know later today.  I'm doing pretty good for an Old Guy. 4 months ago when I started Afrezza my Basal was 28 units. Today my ENDO dropped it from 14 Units to 12 Units. I have no idea what's to come....but if you call Matt tell him I'm doing just fine thanks to Afrezza.is your endo observing the same - reduced basal with his other patients? Did he say the reason why is that happening and why you would be needing reduced basal - i want to know his thought process and if he gets/understands what afrezza is capable of...does he even care? |

For the first 90 days of my Afrezza use I posted my numbers like an open book. I let the board know the relationship between my ENDO and me. I went from an A1C of 7.4 to 6.8. Now you want to know if my ENDO even cares?

i think you mis understood me... I asked if the endo cared about the capability of afrezza and is all praise for it by acknowledging the superiority and recommending to his other patients and talking about afrezza,its benefits to his peers or he just passes it of.... |

I read a post else where on twitter where the doc was hesitant.. so the only thing that would give me confidence in your doc is through your words. PERIOD i am not frustrated with anything - stock price/scripts.. i simply asked if his doc values afrezza or if doc prescribed on his request - a simple yes or no would have been ended this. But seems people dont want to give simple answers.. |
