My meaning of "answer" was to mean putting out at least one new TS candidate with a new deal. Mannkind investors have been left at the altar by Management, imo. But what do you expect them to say? Its quite obvious things are not going according to plan. The CEO was fired (which needed to happen) and there are multiple road blocks keeping scripts down. A 90 year old is the captain of this ship that is taking on water. We all know this. There is not much positive outside of user reviews.Ive spoken with Matt in email once since I am an investor in MNKD. Go try emailing the CFO of SNY and see when they respond. We are all big boys and girls and they are not here to hold our hand. You are investing in a biotech company and you should automatically assume your money is gone. It sucks right now. Theres no denying that. I buy speculative stocks and MNKD is at the top of the list. You cannot expect to make a 1000% return on your investment without being tortured by the volatility of the share price on its road to success or failure. I dont know. Sorry Sure Al is the captain of the ship (always been the captain). The ship as I know is something still able to sell 1-2 billion next three years with Afrezza and We have a powerful platform on the going. Should not be difficult to find funds..... That the ship is taking on water is still to be demonstrated, imo. Wall Street giving 600 million values to the company is horrible but not a sure demostration that water is entering.

Tomorrow is here and we are back down 8%. Of corse the overall market is down 280 points. It is criminal how Wall Street is playing with this stock! What is worse is that Mannkind has proven to have no answer to show they have anything to counter the nay sayers. There isn't a visible pipeline to speak of. I know there is talk about TS candidates but nothing concrete. What you are seeing is directly the result of poor planning by Mannkind. I appreciate your viewpoint, but I think of it differently. I don't think the problem is that MannKind doesn't have the answers that would silence their critics. It's likely that management is simply choosing to not publicize all the answers to our questions, and I think it likely is for one or both of these reasons:
- Alfred Mann's philosophy is not to release information until you have an event. He does not see Investor Relations as important to the business. I don't agree with this philosophy, but Matt himself has publicly confirmed that Al has no desire to improve the company's IR.
- Management cannot talk. We know that there are provisions within the License & Collaboration Agreement that prohibit MannKind officers from disclosing Sanofi's business activities without their approval. In addition, NDA(s) may be prohibiting MannKind from publicizing recent pipeline developments if they are in discussions or have reached a negotiation phase with another BP. If there is not an NDA at the present time, then (unfortunately) we revert to the first point.
I find myself wondering when are we shareholders going to hear from our new Chief Medical Officer.
Regardless, I'm not prepare to conclude that management has no answers or that silence is a strong indicator of poor planning.
I wholeheartedly agree that the silence is disturbing and that MNKD is not like any company or any stock I have ever seen.

I do not care about Wall Streets valuation. It means nothing to me now. I would not be investing in MNKD if I listened to Wall St. However we seem to have very different opinions of how much water is on the ship. In the end I hope its able to ram through the iceberg that brought the titanic down.

It is obvious you didn't understand what I wrote as your response has nothing to do with what I wrote. But I enjoyed reading your hissy fit! I was pretty calm when I wrote that. Didnt have any hiss in my thought while writing it. Sorry if it came off that way
