I don't know what will happen but I did take another small bite today. Now have 1/5 of my peak position (for obviously very much less $...). The risk benefit (which is only known retrospectively) seems rather 'highly speculatively' attractive to me at these prices... Welcome back! Trend

I know a guy that invested a 100k (every penny he had) on a bio teh penny stock and became a multi millionaire from that move. Going all in c an wipe you out or make you rich. So I get it and its your money. I have invested quite a bit into MNKD, have my ROTH setup. I cant say I have gone all in but I have a lot riding on MNKD. Not selling, added today at $1.39. We will see if I am right and I do feel I am right. Jay1 I think we will all do ok. My wife wants to kill me right now but we are young and I dont have my life invested in MNKD. This is the time to take a risk. I have some MNKD shares in my retirement but I dont want to mess with that bc if it goes belly up I have nothing there to work with in the future.

Not only will MannKind survive Wall Street's onslaught, but Afrezza will become the greatest selling medication in our lifetime. While the share price has caused my wine consumption to increase slightly, after the second glass, I say let's see how things turn out during 2017. Good luck to longs! I think you are seeing the short squeeze (covering) between now and Jan 16's option expiration. I would not be surprised to see less than 60 Million short shares reported on the 2nd Feb short report.

What has the company disclosed to justify this optimism? What exactly has changed to stop the onslaught? or are we still delusional?
I come off quite pessimistic most of the time. I feel it's justified though. I'm just looking for clear answers which none of us have. All we have is "hope" and "gut feeling".

AgreeEveryone needs to combat the pain we are going through one way or another. I logged into Fidelity today and felt like someone tased me. Indeed. 100% of my Fidelity abound is MNKD. Now, before everyone gets on my case about this, Fidelity is my smallest account, by far. However, I am now avoiding signing in because of the tasing I know awaits me immediately after hitting the "send" button. I agree with Kastanes though. Since I know, first hand, how well this works, I still believe it will succeed and be one of the largest hits of all time. As long as I don't sell it, it hasn't been taken as a loss. Currently looking into converting it into a ROTH. Imagine 10 years from now, when I am ready to retire, it will have grown to 20x its current price. And I won't even have to pay tax on the appreciation!. Roth is a great idea.

Approximately 310,000 call contracts in open interest up to the 5 strike for Jan 15th options. My gut tells me most of these calls are held long for short covering . It's time to get back on the train.

Not to mention that there are more than a few long fund managers who might want a nice holiday bonus, too.
