Not only will MannKind survive Wall Street's onslaught, but Afrezza will become the greatest selling medication in our lifetime. While the share price has caused my wine consumption to increase slightly, after the second glass, I say let's see how things turn out during 2017.
Good luck to longs!

Everyone needs to combat the pain we are going through one way or another. I logged into Fidelity today and felt like someone tased me.

AgreeEveryone needs to combat the pain we are going through one way or another. I logged into Fidelity today and felt like someone tased me. Indeed. 100% of my Fidelity abound is MNKD. Now, before everyone gets on my case about this, Fidelity is my smallest account, by far. However, I am now avoiding signing in because of the tasing I know awaits me immediately after hitting the "send" button. I agree with Kastanes though. Since I know, first hand, how well this works, I still believe it will succeed and be one of the largest hits of all time. As long as I don't sell it, it hasn't been taken as a loss. Currently looking into converting it into a ROTH. Imagine 10 years from now, when I am ready to retire, it will have grown to 20x its current price. And I won't even have to pay tax on the appreciation!.

Going all in can wipe you out or make you rich. So I get it and its your money.

I cant say I have gone all in but I have a lot riding on MNKD. Not selling, added today at $1.39. We will see if I am right and I do feel I am right.

Does that mean you're writing off 2016? I should just have my broker issue me stock certificates, unplug the computer for 15 years and check the PPS when I retire.
I can either buy a yacht with it, or have extra toilet paper handy when that day comes. But think of the stories I'll have to tell from the poor house....

I think 2016 will be good for MNKD, there should be a partnership announcement soon and are partner will remain. That is all I want for Christmas.

January will squash the shorts supposition that Sanofi will drop Afrezza. If anything, I believe Sanofi will increase advertising, training and possibly initiate a trial that demonstrates superiority.
Nothing to back my beliefs except my second glass of red wine from Walla Walla.

I don't know what will happen but I did take another small bite today. Now have 1/5 of my peak position (for obviously very much less $...). The risk benefit (which is only known retrospectively) seems rather 'highly speculatively' attractive to me at these prices...

in reality , if you are still hanging in this stock from several years ago ( or even just one year ago ) there is not much you can do but drink some wine and hope for a 2017 miracle.

Yep, still holding. In fact, in order to hold my mnkd position I had to close out other positions with losses. I have more confidence in MannKind than other positions; we will see who is correct this time next year.
Cheers!

Amen, Kastanes, I agree with you. My "check liver light" came on over the last few months with wine therapy, though. Merry Christmas to all longs with hopes for a much Merrier Christmas in 2016 and 2017.

mdcenter61 I take lipoic acid as a preventative during my therapy, many docs recommend. This stock and it's manipulation create excess thirst
