Afrezza deserves aggressive promotion across every media platform. When dosed correctly nothing else matches it. We need a CEO who has a passion to let the world know that they are on the way to turning big pharma on its head. 

Imagine how Mannkind would promote Afrezza is Steve Jobs, Larry Ellison or Bill Gates were CEO. That's what we need. Calm, competent and aggressive with absolute conviction in the company, its products and its future. 

Sorry to pour cold ice water on your post but the problem with promoting a drug is a little thing called the FDA. Steve, Larry and Bill where in industries where you can boast (and lie) about your products and get away with it. You can't in the biotech/pharma sector. The regulation is quite strict and demanding and will punish a biotech company severely for hyping a product.

I want this to succeed to but you need to realize these guys are not gods and they can mess up. They are not perfect by any means and they do not deserve to be left alone to fix this... If they are going to remain silent throughout the year and offer very little on their calls you bet they should be hearing from us.

Amen. I'm down huge too. Matt has perfected the difficult-to-learn art of Clinton-speak, i.e. saying something without really saying something, diverting, manipulating etc. I know this bc I have an odd habit of comparing what Matt says to what in fact happens (or doesn't happen.) A big gap in credibility to say the least. DTC? TS deals? TS trials? No dilution?

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that when the "black-out" period ends, and mgmt speaks in Feb at the CC, we will all again be predictably disappointed at the scarcity and opacity of disclosure. This isn't a stock; this is an ordeal.

SNY is playing by the book but Afrezza would be better served in the way you described. Why? Because there are a lot of roadblocks created by others when they go the conventional way and Afrezza has the potential to be sexy enough for such aggressive marketing. But it has to be played well and neither Al or SNY seems to be competent in this regard. Al would could have been the right person some years ago, Hakan was not convincing from the start (when ever I replay a CC it makes me furious) and SNY is the traditional anonymous giant that no-one can relate to.

SNY is like every other Pharma giant. Can anyone name a single CEO of a Pharma company that is known to the public ? (beside Shrek ;-)

How about a quick press release from Al saying what he’s doing to ensure the success of Afrezza and Mannkind in 2016?

How about a statement from Sanofi saying TV ads are starting in January and they are 100% behind Afrezza’s success?

How about a joint announcement that Mannkind, Sanofi and Alphabet are releasing a non-invasive blood glucose monitor, a diet tracking application and a smart inhalher to bring near non-diabetic control to Afrezza users as the custom software tracks and learns how each food affects each person and calculates exactly how much Afrezza is needed and when?

How about an update on the SEC investigation into the manipulation of Mannkind’s stock, even if it’s just to confirm it is still ongoing?

How about an update on TEVA partnering to deliver Technosphere versions of generics?

How about an joint update with the Gates Foundation about how the Technosphere oxytocin project is doing?

How about an update on Technosphere Cardio?

How about an update on Technosphere Migraine / Pain?

How about an update from the CMO about progress being made on multiple Technosphere projects?

How about clarification of past, current and future milestone payments from Sanofi and when those will show up as a positive on the financials?

How about some anger and conviction that Mannkind will succeed rather than the we’re not there yet, fingers crossed and near absolute silence from Mannkind executives and Sanofi?
